The single room was beautifully decorated comfortable clean and had everything I could possibly need. The star for wonderful and friendly. The honesty bar is a great addition for the evenings when you get back to the hotel as well. We thought there was a 10 minute walk from the station to the hotel but it's probably more like two minutes which is excellent x

Nothing. The room was too small. No cupboards or drawers. Wardrobe only tiny. Space cramped. Bathroom not private and shower inside the bath which was impossible to use with a damaged cartridge.
Bedding was not clean and floor was not hoovered. Bathroom was not clean.
Hotel would not give us a better room and we are demanding a refund of at least half the cost to us which was extortionate for what we had to endure.

Falmouth is a pretty little harbour town, the surrounding area is breath taking and there are alot of little coves all along the coastline. I have often visited Cornwall and has never visited before. I will most definately be visiting again, we stayed 2 nights one night at the Anacapri which is opposite the beach and the 2nd night in a little house over looking a nature reserve. Definately my favourite part of Cornwall. We went on the 1st June and it is noticeably more chilled than the northern Cornish Coast. HIGHLY recommend

A lovely coastal town with a busy redeveloped harbour and a National Maritime Museum facilities. Smaller cruise liners evidently also make stop overs at the town.Good eating options and even has a Trago Mills: a West country independent store found in several locations which stocks everything from phone leads to carpets! It also has a beligured yet working railway station as well as Gardens to explore. I ate an evening meal in the town at Fuel cafe: all locally sourced items of fish and chips, cheesecake and cream ( clotted, of course) with bottled local Rattler cider, followed with a Cornish coffee. Good informative free guide available from tourist information office - helped us choose activities that would make the most of our short stay. Good choice of shops and restaurants. The sea/river is constantly present. The views across the water are amazing.. Recommend taking one of the ferries to the other side - St. Mawes, the gardens ........ Falmouth is a hilly town but has lots to offer for all age groups if you can walk up hills. The town is like most other towns with many empty shops sadly but there are still lots of shops and independent shops. The art gallery was a bit disappointing although the building it was in is beautiful. The Museum is good value for money and you can return any time within the year once you have paid entrance fee. Falmouth is very close to lots of other nice places in Cornwall. You can easily walk from the train station into town. I ate at Verdant Tapas bar and another Tapas bar outside of town, you cannot pre book at Verdants. The town is a bit tatty in places but it adds to its character! Lots of places to eat to cater for all peoples tastes!Diane - 8.0Scored 8.0

The "Sabzi" cafe is great for vegan persian themed food, daily changing menu, a sample box is enough food for two people two meals. The Charity shops have more men's wear than most: Jackets, Shoes.

It really isn’t like other hotels it’s special. I found the staff incredibly friendly and helpful especially Phil and the young man who was on his break from University from the summer don’t know his name. The live music on Saturday afternoon was a wonderful extra touch . Food was delicious ( yes expensive, but every food bills gone up!!) and beautifully presented.SallyUnited Kingdom

We arrived at 10.30pm and were met with a cheery welcome. The host could not have been more friendly and helpful. The hotel is immaculately clean and freshly decorated with lovely soft furnishings. Great location, close to town and beach. Really enjoyed our short stay.
