What a super hotel in a super area, very clean and super friendly staff, this hotel is a must if you are coming to Falmouth. James the wonderful porter was really helpful and give us great recommendations on where to go in Falmouth. I think this hotel is a little gem. The bedrooms were very warm and damp, probably due to the proximity to the swimming pool. The rooms really need a clean and the cleaners need to know to dust the top of items, like the mirrors and radiators. These hadn't been cleaned for ages!

Falmouth is a hilly town but has lots to offer for all age groups if you can walk up hills. The town is like most other towns with many empty shops sadly but there are still lots of shops and independent shops. The art gallery was a bit disappointing although the building it was in is beautiful. The Museum is good value for money and you can return any time within the year once you have paid entrance fee. Falmouth is very close to lots of other nice places in Cornwall. You can easily walk from the train station into town. I ate at Verdant Tapas bar and another Tapas bar outside of town, you cannot pre book at Verdants. The town is a bit tatty in places but it adds to its character! Lots of places to eat to cater for all peoples tastes!

The "Sabzi" cafe is great for vegan persian themed food, daily changing menu, a sample box is enough food for two people two meals. The Charity shops have more men's wear than most: Jackets, Shoes.

I love having a variety of safe sandy swimming beaches with calm waters ideal for paddleboarding, kayak exploration. Great range of places to eat, lots of options for vegans. Always some type of live music on somewhere. Good vibe to the town. Ideal location to explore the surrounding area by foot. A must visit is the Wilder Kitchen, such a gem serving delicious Thali. Also Castle beach cafe for takeaway breakfast or lunch and Ciuri Ciuri for the best italian Gelato (always great vegan choices too)

Falmouth is a compact sea-side town with plenty of restaurants and a thriving arts community. While one can easily walk around Falmouth there are also many attractions within a short drive. Taxis are also readily available.

We loved falmouth and are looking forward to visiting in the spring. Great independent shops with loads of places to eat and drink.
Gilly beach was fab and the restaurant was great
Well be sure to visit again
We have stayed here 4 times now, as Alex is at Falmouth University and we use the hotel to stay when we either bring Alex down or take him home. The beds are super comfy and very big. Shower is always nice. I used the gym this time which was good. It had a wide variety of equipment and I was the only one in there. I always like the use of free tea/coffee using the machine in the foyer. We didn't have the breakfast this time as ate out but the breakfast is very nice as we've had this before. All in all, a nice stay.
Firstly: price. Have stayed in lots of places in West Cornwall for work in recent years, discovering that the Greenbank Hotel of all places offers competitively priced rooms was a surprise.
Second: breakfast. Simply wonderful. They're flexible with menu choices, the food is delicious and you sit looking across Falmouth Harbour. In winter, that means watching the sun come up over the water.
Third: Staff. Friendly, polite. An old-fashioned approach to service.
Fourth: Parking. Plenty on-site.
The tone was set for our 2-day visit by cheerful and welcoming Beccy with her wealth of local knowledge. Our straightforward room was well furnished, comfortable bed and had sufficient electric outlets. A small clean bathroom with a good shower. The breakfast was a standard "full English", made more enjoyable by the sea view and warm attention from Fiona. The hotel is well located for the main beach and a nice walk above it, around the castle and down into town.
Our room was spectacular, with stunning views in two directions, beautifully appointed and decorated. Breakfast was perfect every day 7 days in a row. Sharon and Nigel were so friendly and anticipated our needs and wants. The neighborhood felt safe to walk in day and night. It's a 6-7 minute walk to the beach, 12 minutes to the Falmouth University campus, and 15 minutes to many of the great restaurants in town.
Situated within minutes to the town center and with breath taking views over Falmouth hourbour, Cotswolds House is the perfect place to stay. The room was sensational and the hosts could not have been more hospitable. The breakfast was faultless and I can't wait to return for another visit.
Beautiful view of the sea and coast. Room was perfect and very quiet with comfortable bed. Friendly and welcoming environment at the hotel. Falmouth was not far by car and was very nice. We only stayed one night so did not have time to explore a lot but what we saw was great.
We had an amazing time in Falmouth. The hotel is located in the docs surrounded by a lot of hip bars and shops. The staff was very friendly and professional, our dinner and breakfast was absolutely magnificent with a great few at the harbour and the sea. Phenomenal!
The hotel is set in its own lovely grounds about 2 miles from Falmouth Harbour and beaches. The rooms were immaculate,as were the public areas. Breakfast and dinner choices excellent and good value for money. Plenty of parking available.
Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Hotel cleanliness very good. Room was clean and comfortable. Food very good. Staff accomodating, we switched one of our booked evening meals to a lunch, without any quibbling.
The hotel was lovely .. very warming.. great hospitality.. our bedroom was very comfortable and very clean … not too far to walk into Falmouth .. Will definitely be going back … next time we will stay longer x
I have stayed here on many occasions and the location close to Falmouth Beach and Town centre is perfect. The hotel is always clean and the staff are always very helpful and the breakfast is very good.
Very easy to find. Lovely situation. Staff were all very polite and helpful. They gave me a space in the garage under the hotel as I have a problem knee. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Food excellent.
A hotel room without the hotel. The price was a bargain and all the necessary facilites were provided. Everything was clean and tidy. Great location for Falmouth and the surounding area.
Gorgeous little house, beautifuly decorated in the heart of Falmouth with everything you need. We loved our stay and will definitely be back, great communication throughout.
