Having read the glowing reviews, I knew I was in for a treat. However, from the moment I checked-in, the U Samui excelled. Beautifully understated, the hotel has a relaxed, contemporary vibe with picture perfect bar, pool and beach area. And, not to be outdone, the guest rooms are bright, spacious and really comfortable, with great beds and shower. And, just so you know, the food is right up there, too. Substantial breakfast buffet with tasty snack and dinner menu, all combined with thoughtful touches like ''Anywhere, Anytime Happy Hour''. However, at the U, the real stars of the show are the amazing staff. Genuine, super friendly, they are 100% invested in making sure you have a truly memorable stay and absolutely nothing is too much trouble ! Too many to mention them all but I'd like to give a quick shout out to Ice, Tata and Ning. So, once again, a huge thank you to Jane and all of her wonderful team for a really special stay. Will definitely be back to see you guys again !!

Comfortable big bed, big bath on the veranda with flowery salts to put in the bath - everything is just thought out so well. Boxing bag in the room - so fun. As well as the Muay Thai class that they give for free - so fun! Breakfast is big, lots of choices and fresh salad and good coffee. Get a scooter so you can get around, it’s around 5 min drive to center of Lamai with all restaurants, bars, markets, but there are also restaurants nearby walking distance. Thank you Thai fight hotel, we’ll be back for sure.

Even by Thailand's high standards, staff at the Lamai Samui were the most amazing and friendliest we've ever encountered. Our room was ultra comfortable. The entire resort was stunning, reflecting Indo Chinese architecture. Breakfast was fantastic and a great way to start the day. The staff went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met. Lots of good vegetarian options too. Huge thanks to Mr Tree, Gift, Bigky and Sao, among others who made our stay unforgettable. Great location - a short walk to the famous Crystal Bay beach and Lamai night market. We really loved lounging by the pool too. Highly recommend The Lamai Samui for the ultimate relaxing and rejuvenating vacation.
