Hotel was conveniently located abt 15mins frm airport. Walking mins to the Zon mall. Has a private beach that is clean and serene. Our family suite was so spacious and we enjoyed all the facilities there. We were handed cold face towels while in the q for check-in, complimentary drinks at d lobby itself that guests cn help themselves with. Took the package with dinner and we enjoyed the huge buffet breakfast spread, as well as the 3 course dinner AND hotpot. Too bad our stay wasn't over the weekend, or we wud have enjoyed sizzle by the beach too! All staffs were super friendly and attentive! I'd return again with the rest of my family members. Ngopi Pantai cafe is within 5mins drive!

The owner puts a lot of love and thought into the details of everything. He is friendly and polite, and is always seen around the villa, self clearing tables at breakfast or doing maintenance of small things around the villa. The landscaping is gorgeous, it's plants and flowers everywhere. Every guest gets a remote control for the main electronic gate. I was upgraded to a villa with direct access to the pool, open the sliding door and the pool is at my feet. Room has unique layout design, quality thick towels and quality bottled water, not cheap brandless ones. Location is in between Kuah and Pantai Cenang, away from both crowds and noises. You can order food from Foodpanda and take a Grab car to anywhere. I highly recommend this wonderful villa to everyone. Support honest, local entrepreneurs and their businesses!

We were told Hindu new year is near and the hotel staff are very friendly introduce to us the Malaysia hindu culture. The hotel room is spacious and clean, facilities are great. We will come again next time. Sweeden Hotel room and pool are my favorite spots. We stayed 3 days here and went for water sports. We love the Indian festival drawings which is first time we saw live rice painting in a large lobby. We will come back for Christmas and thanks for the front office and waitress hospitality.

Apa yang kurang selamatnya sepanjang berjalan kaki adalah pihak berkuasa tempatan tidak menyediakan jejantas untuk penjalan kaki melintas jalan serta kurangnya kemudahan bus stop.

Beach full of construction site and development, which spoilt the beautiful view of Tanjung Rhu. The seawater seem cloudy and dangerous to people, not advisable to swim or play at the water as it have current wave going on. Despite the bad things, the view of the sunset was a moment to remember. Good for taking pictures. And also, there were stalls along the beach who sold water and other dishes. You can drink fresh coconut water while eating laksa kedah while enjoying the sunset. To go here from Kuah or Pantai Chenang took almost 1 hour drive, far away from the bustling of tourists. Suitable for people who really love village feeling and only come here for the beach, not suitable for people who seek for night activities (party, having fun, etc). There also beach activities provided like paragliding, jetski and so on with acceptable price and free from long queue.

We booked it with high expectations but also with some hesitation considering the (high) price. But all we can say now, is that we loved our 4 night stay here! It has exceed our expectations and for sure was worth the price. The staff was amazing, friendly and very professional. The hotel is so beautiful and everything is perfectly treated. The jungle surrounding the hotel and the hotel beach are amazing. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant food was delicious. I would suggest Datai Langkawi to anyone visiting Malaysia.

Amazing resort, never experienced such a friendly, proactive and forthcoming Service! Great staff, offering help and solutions for anything you can think about. Really loved the room, they accommodated every wish. Pools are very clean , you can order food and drinks directly to the pool, one pool has a bar inside it. The spa is amazing, had the greatest massage. You can request male or female massager. There are 3 restaurants and all three have great food! If you don't want to eat in the restaurant, you can simply order food from outside. The resort itself is huge with 3 pools and of course the beach! There are many activities, we only stayed dir 4 days but you can easily spend 2 weeks without getting bored or doing anything twice! Absolutely recommend if you are looking to leave the world behind and just relax.

Two restaurants offered breakfast buffet, this was great. One restaurant also had an excellent buffet (and a-la-carte) in the evening, to the sounds of a (recorded) Gamelan orchestra. And the 'boat house bar' directly on the beach offered really good cocktails, and put some mattresses in the sand in the evening so you could lay down and watch the stars. They also had good music, live and recorded. The Thai restaurant was also excellent. The beach was perfect, and the chalet we had (in the forest) as well, also the gym was well equipped and everything worked.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Special mention to the staff who served us and are so very respectful and courteous. The entire experience was lovely from the moment we arrived to be served fresh juice to the room service and delectable meals. Highly Recommended.

The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Was a little out dated but it’s a nice place to stay. We’ve been travelling for 3 months and it was the best shower we’ve had so far. Powerful and boiling hot water. Would recommend
