Washer and dryer were welcome two weeks into our road trip. Upon request, we were provided with a couple of excellent restaurant recommendations. We also picked up a few groceries in Portree, and with the well outfitted kitchen, enjoyed cooking for ourselves.

The hosts were very clear in all the communications, gave loads of suggestions, and prepared an amazing cottage in Scotland for travelers. The beds were comfortable, there are all the needed appliances for a great stay while cooking as well.

Raasay is 19 km from the holiday home, while Kyleakin is 42 km away. The location is a bit more remote than we originally thought but it is very private and in a tranquil setting. The decor is tasteful. The set up in the cottage very thoughtful. Wish that we had a longer stay.
