I was in Mukachevo only one night.
I liked Palanok Castle, it's worth a visit.
There is a nice square, a center and an orthodox church.
It is also nice around the river and in the amusement park by the river.
I was pleasantly surprised by how good Pilsner beer they have in the Jakir restaurant :)

It's a wonderful city in one if the most picturesque parts of Ukraine. Peaceful atmosphere, magnificent Palanok Castle, delicious cuisine and blooming sakura trees make Mukachevo a perfect tourist destination. Bondarenko cafe, restaurant "Порядний Ґазда" and B@B Espresso Bar are must-visit.

A nice and interesting town for one-day visit (it could be two day), a magnificent castle/fortress on the top of the hill (you can drive almost to the top), nice and lively main street/square, which is closed for traffic. Most of the shops are open on Sunday (till mid-afternoon), very good local food and drinks. Despite some obvious poverty people are nice and friendly, no agressive beggars. The only drawback (at least for drivers) are roads, especially in city center - wavy, bumpy, holed ... terrible for driving, although traffic runs quite smoothly. Most of the roads in the center are one-way.

As for a small city Mukacheve is a cozy and beautiful place with good restaurants, cafes with tasty not expensive food (compared with Kyiv or European cities). There are a few churches, temples with sophisticated architecture and the castle of course is "must-to-visit". So I recommend this city to visit.
Great location in the center of Mukachevo.
I stayed two times for one night here - before going to Ivano-Frankivsk and after returning from Ivano-Frankivsk. I had two different rooms. The first stay was in a room with older furniture the second stay with newer furniture and renovated room. Both stays have been all right. Bed comfy, WIFI worked all right, Room was clean.
Wonderful restaurant Bograch with great local food is attached to the hotel.
Great and helpful staff
Big room with a nice view
in the city center yet cozy and calm
walking distance to downtown
very good value for the money
If you'd expect posh furniture and best 5* facilities this hotel will disappoint you, this is definitelly an economy class, BUT very good, clean economy class. fresh beds, working equipment, nice towels =)
I liked this stay a lot!
I stayed here for a night when leaving Ukraine at the start of the war. The flat was a lot better than I was expecting, the owner was friendly and helpful and it was lovely and quiet.
Mukachevo is a nice town with a lot of historical sights and I hope to go back there again some day
The linen and the room were clean. General atmosphere is cosy and lovely. The hotel is located in the center that is convenient to get to all the attractions. Also, the staff is extremely helpful and nice. We could park the car for free inside the hotel yard.
We had breakfast with made by ourselves sandwiches, tomates, coffee, fruit and cookies from the nearside bakery and 24h grocery store nearby through the bridge. There is a musem furnitured dining room at this hotel and a new big fridge for inhabitants.
Cross the bridge and you are in the center. Quiet neighborhood. Great food downstairs.
Hotel room has a fridge and you can also ask for a tea kettle: They do not have a breakfast set-up, but you can make it for yourself in your room.
Hotel is placed in 200-250m from railway station, right near the railways. For us it was a big plus because we arrived in the midnight. Restaurant at the same building is really amazing! Delicious food with a very reasonable price.

A simple city hotel. Everything was fine. Note that the room does not have air conditioning. There is a Caucasian restaurant below the hotel. Parking is free on the street. Staying for 1 night is a very good option
Clean, friendly and decent breakfast. Comfortable bed.
. If you’re driving to Ukraine from Hungary, it’s close to the border. You can wait a long time there so it’s nice to cross and get a proper rest here.
Perfect location close to center of Muchacevo. Secured parking in front of hotel. Friendly receptionist and waiters in restaurant. Rooms were very nice and clean. Highly recommended.
The location is great! Hotel right in the middle of the town. Easy to reach, nice promenade right next to. Bunch of restaurants and historical places.
Helpful and pleasant staff.
The hotel is placed in the heart of the city. The breakfast was nice. The personnel at the hotel and restaurant were lovely and supportive. Really worth to return.
