Honoured by Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi, one of the holiest mosques in Islam, Medina is the 2nd most important Islamic pilgrimage site after Mecca. Surrounded by hills that have seen hundreds of people seek refuge in its oasis, this city has developed a range of modern facilities to host the pilgrims from all over the world.
Formerly named Yathrib, the city is also known as Madīnat an-Nabiy or ‘Prophet’s City’, and it’s also known as Al-Madīnat(u) 'l-Munawwarah or ‘Radiant City’. The Prophet Muhammad came to the city in the 7th century, seeking refuge from his opponents. According to Muslim theology, the last chapters of the Quran were revealed to him here.
The site where the Prophet lived is now occupied by the Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi or ‘Prophet’s Mosque’. Although the mosque has changed and expanded over the years, the green dome is part of the original sanctuary.
Places like the Masjid Quba mosque, the Masjid Al-Qiblatain mosque and the Al-Baqi Cemetery also represent important holy sites in Medina.
Whether you arrive directly at Medina’s Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport or come from Mecca or Riyadh, check out the accommodation deals on Booking.com before travelling.

Al Madinah is a significant religious destination for Muslims, boasting numerous religious sites such as mosques and historical landmarks. However, navigating the city can be challenging due to ongoing infrastructure work, particularly when attempting to reach places like the Masjid by car. Many religious areas suffer from inadequate parking or are completely closed off.

I only stayed for 1 night on 7/4/24 in Hotel Diyar Al Sater as I didn't have a good sleep as the bed was full of bugs. Even aircon was not working well & make lot of noice.
I paid only for 1 night.
On my way to Umrah, I stayed at Anwar Al Madinah Movenpick for six nights in early January 2023. I was delighted with the room, which offered a great view of Masjid-e-Nabwi, and the vast courtyard in front of it. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. Daily breakfast, included in the room charge, offered numerous delicious options.
The hotel is steps away from the mosque and making it easy to pray at Masjid-Nabwi. On the other side is a central shopping area with many clothing and jewelry shops.
Every thing was great as: staff, room, there is a shuttle bus every pray time, wifi, the smell of the reception sooo good so good بخور mashallah, Al madinah itself so nice and safe place, thank you to every one, I like my stay over there.
“Arwa front desk girl” She is so nice and polite mashallah and the other guy he Helped me, I’m sorry not remember the names. But really every one from the staff over there was so nice and helpful and friendly.
اللهم صل و سلم علي محمد و آل و صحبه و سلم
Stayed in Saja Al Madinah hotel between 26th and 29th April 2023 with my family. Overall, we did not like the hotel except the location is very near to Masjid Al Nabawi (3-4 mins walk to Gate no. 328) and the breakfast served was quiet good.
Pros:
1. Location close to Gate no. 328 of Masjid Al Nabawi. This gate is quiet far from Rawdah area so one has to walk for atleast 8-10 mins to reach the Rawdah area
2. Good breakfast with lot of options
3. Small grocery markets, pharmacy are nearby
Once I arrived, the staff checked my "paid" reservation and took me to a manager. The manager told me that my stay was " promoted" to a different hotel that is closer to almasjid annabawi / alharam. They gave .e a receipt that transfers me to Al Aqreq Al Madina hotel. I went there ( 3 minutes walk towards Haram), and the check-in, stay, and buffet were great. While I didn't stay at Emaar Elite, the way they treated me was professional, and I am happy I stayed in Al Aqeeq hotel.
what I liked is how professional the staff was, how spacious the rooms they gave us, me and my friend who had another room, the hotel was very clean, I enjoyed the amazing photos they have across the room, about the history of Al Madina and Makkah, it was fantastic, the view from our room was also beautiful, it was located perfectly for us, big shouts for the amazing reception team, Sultana and Raed for their wonderful job, they are professional and very polite
Zaha Al Madina is located about 10-15 mins to Masjid-e-Nabawi. The closest entrance would be gate 316. The hotel was okay in terms of comfort and breakfast. The food selection for breakfast was decent. We had 5 family members (parents + 2 kids and they gave us rooms next to each other however disconnected). We felt the money we paid did not justify the value we received.
I like everything here.It was indeed one of my best spiritual experience in the amazing city of Madinah.Hotel is right at the door step of the Prophets mosque , and ladies chamber . Will definitely choose and recommend Anwar e Madina Move and Pick to whomsoever is travelling to Madinah and wants the nearest possible location to the mosque of Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
The hotel is relatively new it is about 8 min walk to Al Haram. It is very close to Al Gomama old mosque. Also close to teh walkway to Qiba Mosque. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The receptionist who was a Saudi lady, was very helpful in helping us to find the best way to reach Qiba Mosque which was the new nicely made 3km walkway.
The City of Madinah is a holy place and all the travellers are going here and stay in hotels are pilgrims.
Staying in hotel are not for a business or torisum trip.
All visitors are looking forward for a good comfortable, clean and best location. That's it's!!
But many many hotels and AL Andulas Place Hotel 3 doesn't provide a clean room.
Great hotel and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. They would do their best to achieve all your needs and offer you the best solutions. I loved everything about it and I had a great view. I would definitely be back to Madinah to the same hotel. In room dining was the best you would imagine.
Everything. From the moment we arrived, breakfast, dinner, the buzz, the decor. the reception, the Arabic coffee was amazing. Highly recommended as the best hotel in Madinah. I’ve stayed at most 5 star hotels in Madinah and this trumps them all and should be designated 5 star.
The location is amazing, the room was spacious and clean; the staff was friendly
I would definitely recommend this Hotel to families willing to have a peaceful stay in Al Madinah very close to Al MAsjid Al Nabawi.
location , cleanliness and staff were the best among of my many stays in Saudi . perfect room service and housekeeping . I stayed in this hotel in 1994 and this is my second time after 28 years 😃
Perfect location - We got Haram view Alhamdulillah which was the best part. Also, Hotel Manager (I forgot to ask his name, but he was the only Saudi on the reception) was the best person.
New and clean, there some of the items missing but is okay because the hotel is new , I hope that you can make a time for housekeeping not net every time asked then to do it
The Mias Al Madina Hotel is located in a great area, easy access to Masjid An Nabawiyyah. Close to shops and easy access to the streets. It met my expectations and beyond.
