Excellent location and the balcony room is perfect for relaxing and views of the port and wonderful. A couple of restaurants down stairs and a supermarket close bye and other shops also close highly recommend. Beautiful and quiet town.
Beautiful and quiet town. Everything within walking distance. Favorite place for quick bite was Mastro Titta Pizza within two blocks of Airbnb. I would recommend staying longer as there is much to do it Civitavecchia. We missed walking along the Harbor, visiting Fort Michaelangelo, and the beaches. We read about direct Shuttles to the Airport, none were available the day we left because no cruise ships were arriving in Port. Car Service was expensive. We ended up taking the Train, which was not as convenient but not bad at all and at a fraction of the cost!

The hotel is an outstanding location for pre-cruise...
The hotel is an outstanding location for pre-cruise travellers as the location is just a few steps away from Largo della Pace where cruisers pick up the free shuttle to the cruise terminal. Just roll your luggages along the sidewalk then across the street onto the ramp towards area where the shuttle awaits.

Hotel Porta Di Roma, is a beautifully renovated, exceptionally appointed, and immaculately kept hotel within walking distance to restaurants, shops, the beach, and offering shuttle service to the port for a reasonable fee.
