the free shuttle bus service is excellent and I appreciated being so close to the airport as it made my onward journey much easier. The price for a room for one person was 239 euros, which I find extortionate whether or not this is what hotels in Dublin charge. The breakfast was a buffet which was very disappointing. I expected table service for breakfast at this price. The food had been picked over and it was just not good enough. the reception staff on arrival were excellent and welcoming. Santry was ideal for us as it was close to the airport yet only 20-30 minutes by bus from Dublin. We had lunch in the on-site restaurant, and although it took longer than expected for our pizza, all the food was well prepared and tasty. Staff was accommodating, providing fans for the room as requested, and check-in & -out was a breeze.

Santry is NOT a destination!! It is a near-airport hotel! Anyone staying more than one night would go to Dublin or other areas of Fingal, but there is not much in Santry other than the shopping center and DUB airport!!

We were very pleased.

Booking.com needs to be updated. It's a great airport hotel. It is very convenient to catch the hotel shuttle at the airport and zone 16 is where most of the tour companies pick up so, once again, convenient. To our surprise, we were informed that the Hotel had closed and that we were being 'upgraded' to the neighbouring Crowne Plaza. The upgrade was superb, with a magnificent breakfast, wonderful room and great facilities. The staff were all very courteous and nothing was a problem.
