It was close to the airport, an area of hugely expensive hotel rooms. We were quoted over £40 just for a prebooked taxi ride, so opted to pick up our hire car earlier instead with our late scheduled flight. That turned out to be a mistake as we got to our room almost 2 hours following our arrival. Travelodge I expected to have a basic room, clean and functional and good value, but without the facilities of the 4 star hotels. Our room was as expected but at just under £200, which was low for the area, rightly or wrongly I really expected more. Check-in was quick and efficient.

We didn’t have too much time to enjoy our stay at Kettles as we had a family wedding to attend elsewhere, but we were very impressed by the property so will visit again.
