The location is perfect and if you get a sea view even better.
We had a lovely relaxing couple of days, the British weather was kind, some nice warm sunshine.
The indoor pool was ok, and the outside was lovely and warm.
All the staff were very good, professional and friendly.
We would certainly return and recommend the Haven to our friends.

The Ox is a good hotel for staying near the port. The receptionist was expecting us and greeted us and checked us in. The twin room was large and with a window overlooking the street below. There are some pubs, takeaways and grocery shops nearby. We were just passing through so just got a few things from the Co-Op and had a takeaway pizza from close by. I liked there were these things nearby so the hotel is in a good location for a visit like mine.

We didn't go to Poole for holiday as my sister just been diagnosed with MND ( Motor Neurone Disease),and we lived quite far away (Middlesbrough),and a long journey down. The people that owned the B&B had shown compassion throughout our stay,we really appreciated their kindness and support

Staying on Poole Quay was great.
Staying on Poole Quay was great. A lovely stroll along the waterfront with views to Brownsea Island. You can take a boat trip around the Harbour, alighting at Brownsea as one of the destinations. Poole Quay has cafes, bars, good restaurants, very good fish and chips from a quayside hut. It's a short stroll to Poole Old Town with its shops and further along to main Poole Shopping Centre. Very good local transport links to Bournemouth and suburbs. Infact easy to get anywhere like Swanage, Weymouth, Salisbury etc.

A historic, well maintained town with many of the facilities you would expect to find in a modern day town.
The harbour was an attractive place to visit with many businesses there to serve visitors whilst Poole Park was well worth the visit.

It’s a lovely location.
It’s a lovely location. Lots of really nice places to eat out and plenty of good shops. We didn’t venture too far away, but I would definitely recommend a trip to Brownsea Island. We also visited Sandbanks, Wareham and Corfe Castle, all very close by.

We looked around the harbour and went on a boat trip of the harm=bour and sandbanks which was very interesting. We were due to go the the speedway but this was cancelled due to the weather which was disappointing but the speedway was really easy to find and there looked like there would be ample parking. We also spent time in Bournemouth.
We ate at the Quay café where we had breakfast it was fab
The Holiday Inn Express Poole is convenient for the main town shops and station, being about a 10 minute walk from both; it's about a 15 minute walk to the very interesting Quays area. It's also a 5 minute walk to the bus station, which has a comprehensive network of routes, ideal if you want to catch the No. 60 bus to Sandbanks! The hotel staff, from reception to dining area, were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable and was Covid appropriate.
Beautiful hotel and room. Hotel is in a quiet mainly residential area of town. The host Chris and all the staff at breakfast where friendly and helpful. Chris was available if needed also. Lovely continental breakfast. I didn’t have time to fully appreciate the location but I would say it almost perfect if you came for a short break or holiday because it is so close to the promenade and sea and I should imagine lovely walks to Bournemouth or Sandbanks and Poole.
The hotel is in an excellent location and our first floor room had a great view of Poole Harbour. The facilities within the bedroom and en suite bathroom were fine; it was well laid out and provided all we required. The bed linen and towels were clean and good quality. Since I have some mobility issues I appreciated the lift to all floors. Car parking at the rear of the hotel is a public one, but payment could be made at reception at a cost of £7 per night.
The overall feel of this B&B was that it just seemed to be a home from home and Christina and Martyn couldn’t have been more welcoming. The breakfast was excellent ++ and Apps B&B is certainly the place to stay if you are in Poole. Christina apologized for the sound of the very heavy rain on the roof of our family room but I thought this proved to be a very relaxing experience and should be used as a selling point.
Great Stay !! The 1st night was quite stormy but we barely felt the boat moving.....we enjoyed the hot tub and music on the boat every evening rain or shine. The location was great as a base for daytrips. We used both the kitchen facilities on the boat and access to the bar/restaurant in the marina and we also went into Poole 1 evening. Also had time for a cozy read in the lounge area.
Second time I have stayed in this accomodation. Lovely house nice and clean, everything you need. Ideal location for 5 minutes walk to Poole quayside.
Staff very friendly when picking keys up, offering advice. Curteousy phone call from Ella to make sure everything was in order.
Much better than hotel, as you are literally home from home. Will definately return.
Lovely location perfect for visiting family in poole.
Sandbanks Hotel was a little underwhelming to be honest.
Obviously an Economy room was how it was billed and economy room was exactly how it was presented.
Very dated and tired Hotel.
Staff were acceptable and whole experience was ok just!!!
Location is stunning and the views over the harbour are fantastic.
Its clean.
Value for money considering the location,
The shower was high pressure and hot. Brilliant
Breakfast is cooked to order which means its hot. Nuclear hot.
Local Dorset tea was nice.
The location is stunning. A heritage hotel which is right on the beach with the waves lapping below the restaurant terrace and the poolside area. Stunning views over the entrance to Poole Harbour. Lots of activity to watch passing by.
Lovely room. Excellent situation of hotel near Poole Harbour. We ate breakfast outside as the weather was warm which was lovely. We also dined in the restaurant which had a good variety of options on the menus with attentive service
Easy walking distance to Poole quay and amenities. Lovely apartment, very clean and welcoming with little touches like wine in the fridge, tasty biscuits and everything a kitchen might need. A perfect base for a few days away.
Excellent hotel. Excellent views. Rooms were very clean. Good breakfast. Walking distance to Poole Quay. Very good location. Staff were very polite & helpful. Enjoyed our stay at the hotel & will definitely go again.
Everything thing. Beautiful room. Very clean and comfortable. Superb breakfast. Better than most hotels I have stayed in. Will definitely stay there again when I visit Poole. Highly recommend it.
Very welcoming and helpful. Ate in the hotel in the evening. Choice and quality of food very good. Lovely surprise to be offered 25% off bill for being a hotel guest :-)
