No breakfast. Room very tired and in need of repair. Very shabby. Next to the reception main door, so quite noisy with door banging up until about 1pm from guests coming in and out. Very hot room, no vents. Leak from guttering outside, so when rained lot of leakage rain on windows which made a lot of noise.
Set in picturesque mature gardens in Sale, 19th-century Belmore Hotel has free Wi-Fi and free private parking. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Metrolink service to Manchester city centre.
Handforth has a village feel. It's quite small but there are a couple of pubs and hotels. There are a few eateries, chippy, Italian and Indian. There is small shopping centre, The Paddock, with a limited selection of shops. The main A34 now bypasses Handforth and the airport is only a 10 minute drive away.

It had the twin rooms that we required.
It had the twin rooms that we required. Our rooms were next door to each other. Just a few minutes to airport. Nice and quiet. Rooms were adequately equipped for our needs. Clean and functional. Comfortable enough for our stay. Pleasant staff. Shop and reasonable restaurant (we had a carvery for dinner), within walking distance. We left too early in the morning to have breakfast at the hotel. If I was going to require a stay in the same area again, I would definitely be prepared to stay there. Having its own free car park was very useful too.

The hotel was easy to find and offered good parking, we stayed overnight to get an early flight and also found local facilities offering good food and drinks nearby. The locals we met were friendly and helpful, we did not stay long enough to see the town properly.

Very very poor overpriced food. Nothing cooked from fresh. The dishes we tried were absolutely shocking. This hotel really needs to employ a chef. Really poor breakfast too, so much so, two of the party didn’t bother for the rest of the stay.

close to the airport and good price, parking a bit tight but we got in. could do with a more prominent sign, we knew where it was as had stayed there before. beds and bedding fine everything was satisfactory
Staff are lovely. Hotel is 6 mins from Airport parking. Plenty of parking spaces. Gave us a late check out on return from our holiday before the long return drive to Scotland. Breakfast was very good. Great value for money. Nightshift reception man was great. Very helpful and knew we were exhausted from our travels. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely use again if flying from Manchester. Thank you.
Room was spacious and clean. Bed was huge and very comfortable.
Ability to leave the car and get a transfer service to and from the airport was hassle free both outgoing and returning.
Location of the hotel in relation to Manchester Airport.
Food in the restaurant was delicious and service was quick. Staff in the restaurant were all friendly and efficient.
The man who was on charge last night was great, he knew I was tired out, got in after two in the morning. realised I just needed to go to my room. much appreciated.
speedy check in, nice person. followed by the lovely lady that checked me out this morning gave me directions to local train station. I thought the nearest was wilmslow, thank you both.
Hotel is conveniently located for shopping in Manchester and surrounds. Rooms are large and nicely presented with good bathrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean and the accommodation represents really good value for money. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of what was on offer.
Great hotel, nice location and beautiful garden.
Lovely rooms and bathroom. Beds where so comfortable. Staff so friendly and helpful.
Train station just around the corner, so handy as we were travelling in and out to Manchester city.
Would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is comfortable, clean, and good value for the money. As a place to stay before flying out of Manchester airport, it met my needs. The best part was undoubtedly the large and comfortable garden in which I enjoyed a nice meal and a bottle of wine
We always stay at this hotel the night before going on holiday if we have an early flight it is very near Manchester airport. The hotel is modern, fabulous rooms, comfy beds, great food. We never get to sample the breakfast as we always leave too early.
The hotel is exceptionally good value for money. My room was great - the bed comfy and nice view onto the garden. The restaurant was nice and all the staff were very friendly.
the hotel was convenient to airport. the rooms are comfortable. the restaraunt was very good staff very friendly and the food excellent. I had the smoked haddock. to die for
