Very warm welcome and comfy rooms. Jane was helpful and wanted to make sure we have dinner booking as soon as we arrived to make sure we were not without dinner.

I can’t rate this B&B highly enough- lovely location, room, owners knowledge of the area and friendliness, breakfast are hard to beat.
The village is beautiful - Flowers everywhere! Plenty of places to eat and a local Spar .
Bus is approx. every hour and always on time. This takes you to Balloch where you can pick up other transport options (Bus/Train) to explore further.

Nice visit if get right accommodation.
Nice visit if get right accommodation. Unfortunately we stayed at the Buchanan Arms Hotel, and I have uploaded a bunch of photos of our supposedly SUPERIOR KING room - 2 singled beds pushed together.
The Mill House is lovely to go to for drink and meal. nearby hotel entertainment is on in local pubs.

I would say the hotel is a no frills establishment.
I would say the hotel is a no frills establishment. It's clean and comfortable , but in my view is tired and in need of updating. For me and has been mentioned many times by others is the poor breakfast on offer. In all the hotels I have stayed at I've never had to book for breakfast giving a specific time. Sadly one day we forgot to book so was turned away . Once at breakfast, you will constantly be asking for items to be refreshed , from the fruit juices to the bread for toast. The hotel seem to restrict what is put out. There is no proactivity from any of the staff, they have to be asked to do anything rather than act on something that we can all see need's doing. The hot food served was never hot as clearly it was already prepared and just waiting to be brought out. Overall our stay was ok , in a great location but is let down by what I have described above. You pay your monies and make your choice.

This quiet town is a short drive away from Balmaha where you can take the boat trip to Luss. Amazing views on the boat and both shores are very picturesque with small independent ice-cream parlours, coffee shops and other businesses.

Everything. The owners and staff couldn’t have been better.
Everything. The owners and staff couldn’t have been better. We were made to feel more than welcome. We were invited out along with the hotel staff and the local community for a walk along the west highland way up Conic hill on New Year’s Day. What a day! We couldn’t have enjoyed it more. I couldn’t recommend staying at the Drymen Inn highly enough. The food is excellent (we didn’t even eat anywhere else as it was so good and so reasonably priced), the entertainment on New Year’s Eve was fantastic, they made my wee dog Molly so welcome and quite simply couldn’t do enough for us. We have already booked for over New Year’s Eve next year and will very likely be back before that! Stuart, Jen and their staff were excellent hosts. Overall excellent in every way!!
The lounch in the garden was nice. We did not make use of the enormous hot tub, which had to be heated about 24 hours in advance. Furthermore, the teeners liked the tv, which we had in each room. We also enjoyed a play of darts in the lounge area. And, the location, near Drymen was terrific. Mountain view on both sides, very quiet place on private property. Large kitchen and also the other rooms were large. We also liked the small shop with essentials and games.
fantastic location on the West Highland Way. Such a comfortable room, and Carolyn offers exceptional hospitality. We felt like a guest in her home! She is the definitive hostess! Comfortable room, with homemade brownies as a treat! She even makes her own soap. Delicious breakfast in the morning with lots of recommendations for what to do in the local area. This was our second time staying with Carolyn and I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Charming old Inn in a beautiful village. Absolutely loved the staff at the Clachan Inn -- very helpful, friendly, and personable. Ate in the restaurant in the evening, loved the food and the service, and very glad that we booked our table ahead because it was heaving! The staff never lost a beat -- provided great service all evening. It was comfortable, and located conveniently on our trip through Scotland's west coast and whisky country.
The property is modern, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. There were 2 of us staying. We were hiking the West Highland Way and we appreciated having a large double room each with modern ensuite facilities in each room. The living room and kitchen were large and well stocked.
The property is located just a few minutes walk from the centre of Drymen. Highly recommend the Clachan Inn for dinner- book ahead!
Beautiful property for our overnight stop. We were greeted on arrival and served with tea/coffee and scones in the comfortable downstairs guests' snug. Clean, beautifully decorated bedrooms with high-quality furnishings and Sky TV. Maggi and Gordon and their daughter made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was wonderful and as good as the best hotels we had stayed in during our 3-week Scotland N500 tour.
Cottage is very spacious and beautifully decorated, kitchen has everything you need, welcome pack was amazing and included wine and a welcome note amongst many other things, location is fab, very quiet around the cottage which was perfect and less than a mile to local village of Drymen which has pubs, hotels, restaurants, takes around 20 min which is a lovely walk. Would definately recommend.
The Shannon Farmhouse was a perfect place to stay in our second night in Scotland. The farmhouse provided the most incredible views and Jane was the most gracious host. She greeted us immediately and showed us around. The room was perfect for us. The shower provided the most incredible shower I’ve ever taken. Breakfast was served with beautiful views of the property.
Lovely hotel, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Even recommending other places to eat in Drymen - we decided to eat in the bar of the hotel and were not disappointed!
Would definitely stay again, but I would opt for a larger room if staying for more than one night.
Their Sticky Toffee Pudding is to die for.
The Buchanan Arms Hotel was an absolutely lovely place to stay! The location was right near the trailhead for Conic Hill, it was easy to get around the town (cute cafes and a restaurant within walking distance), and it was so nice to hang out in the hot tub after a long day of hiking!
The location and a 3 Bedroom 3 Bath cottage was exactly what we needed. It was in a beautiful setting and an easy walk into Drymen. They left a wonderful welcome package on the 2nd day after cleaning up all the mouse droppings in the kitchen.
Great location for those doing the West Highland Way Or Rob Roy. Easy to find and right in the centre of Drymen. The pool, steam room and hot tub were a great bonus and part of the reason I booked the stay, to rest the weary feet.
I loved the location. The room was lovely and very clean. The host, Tommy, was very sweet and quite friendly. You can tell he loves to have his guests I loved the inn was close to the oldest pub in Scotland. Quite a treatj
Fantastic hotel, owner went above and beyond to help us with our transport/accommodation issue further along the West Highland Way.
Great pub, wonderful atmosphere, delicious dinner and breakfast. Can't fault it at all.
Spacious, clean and comfortable. Well equipped with Netflix, wifi, toiletries and towels. Great location to explore Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. Drymen is a nice village with a convenience store and a few pubs.
Lovely location near Loch Lomond. Very comfortable and nicely decorated apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay. The owner is very helpful and very kindly accommodated our late arrival.
Chris has been an excellent host, very welcoming and helpful.
The place was very clean, spacious, and well furnished.
Well equipped kitchenet.
A near car park is accessible.
