We did a free walk with a Legend that was great and got considerable insight Ito the history of Brussels and the places we could go to find out more eg Museums. The central market is amazing and there is a really good vibe in the city as people enjoy the beauty and the food . There are a variety of restaurants and opportunities to sit outside and enjoy the activity . Cars are limited in the best tourist areas and it is safe to walk around and take in the architecture and food options.Chez Leon was an excellent restaurant but also I the area of St Catherine's church there were cheaper options .

Brussels has a lot to offer in terms of history, music art and culture. We enjoyed one of the best meals we have ever had at restaurant Ottanta but I don’t understand why the City Council thinks it’s ok to have garbage bags strewn around the city left on footpaths for days before they are collected. Brussels is super nice. If you have a young child then it is even better. But Brussels is amazing for anyone to travel. So lively and amazing. Chocolates, waffles and fries ! Bring it on! And also beer. Don’t miss Bruges too. It is so amazing. The chocolate lovers will enjoy different artisan chocolates. At some shops people can be rude but I’m not sure if it was coz I am an Indian (from London) grand place is so lovely and beautiful.Shweta

Carrefour and Lidl are nearby in case of snacks. There are a couple of restaurants and a few takeaways around as well. Overall we really enjoyed our time in Brussels and our stay in this hotel.
