Traditional Japanese Ryokan was beautiful inside and outside. The views from our room and onsen was stunning! The staff was amazing and so hospitable!!

This ryokan also includes a patio that doubles up as an outdoor dining area. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The hosts were really kind and gave us useful tips for exploring Ishigaki. We got a delicious fresh squeezed juice from them every morning. the kitchen was equipped well to make meals and a beach to watch the sunset is just a few minutes away from the property.

A bicycle rental service is available at the ryokan. The owners and family are beyond sweet and helpful. They even lended me a beach towel and shorts for me to go to the beach since I didn’t have any with me, and even let me do some groceries after picking me up from the bus stop! The sweetest hosts I’ve encountered on my travels! Highly recommend staying with them 🩷

Each room is equipped with a private bathroom equipped with a bath. Joya features free WiFi. Clean hotel, we’ll maintained by the friendly owners in the heart of nice Kabira Bay, close to restaurants and a small convenience store. The hotel has a vacation, island vibe and the owners let you feel at home. We had tow Japanese style rooms: sleeping on tatami, small bathroom, small fridge and water boiler. Every day new towels. It’s indeed nice to look at the stars from the roof of the hotel or have a coffee in the morning up there. Would stay here again and recommend the guesthouse.

The ryokan, set in a building dating from 2015, is 11 km from Yaeyama Museum and 18 km from Tamatorizaki Observation Point. The ryokan provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Simple guest house in a quiet village, just steps from a beach with gorgeous sunrises. The friendly English-speaking host provided everything I needed for my first two days on Ishigaki. I loved the carefully prepared meals (even the miso soup was different all four times!)

At the ryokan, all units are fitted with a terrace, a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. The pillows and the beds are very comfortable. The room has a very nice deco. And the carpark is just next to the room.
