I recommend you to take the diner as it was excellent

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. It also boasts a thermal-heated indoor swimming pool. Free WiFi is provided in public areas. Enjoyed the quaint garden path along the river on the property. There were many baths (with great water quality), some of which are private, but with no extra charge. The outdoor pools were heavenly, one of which was by the riverside and a waterfall view. The room was clean and huge with two very comfortable twin beds and a balcony. The Japanese-style breakfast was great, although if one wants a western style, it may be a problem. The service was impeccable. You couldn’t ask for more pleasant and helpful staff.

The ryokan serves Japanese seasonal dishes at its dining room, which features an open kitchen. Teahouse Warabe offers self-service coffee. A variety of Japanese shochu liquor, wines and other drinks can be enjoyed at bar Kura. It was excellent! It was the highlight of our trip! Everything was amazing and very relaxing. Excellent location, accommodation, Onsen, staff, food, everything!

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding. Gorgeous traditional ryokan, with beautifully appointed rooms—we had one of the en-suite onsen baths, and I highly recommend it! The dinners and breakfasts were sumptuous and almost too much food, all very delicious. The staff is friendly, impeccable, and very helpful. The area itself is also lovely, with plenty of shops and nearby onsens to explore.

All service is great. Room and bed are very comfortable.
