The food selections were large for a boutique hotel, plus it was delicious. Our view from the room was gorgeous and we had a nice breeze the entire time we were there. They also provided laundry service for a small fee and they were gentle with our clothing. We will definitely come back again.

KURMA Freedive Camiguin is situated just across White Island sandbar. The resort is 4 km from Mambajao Airport and 6 km from the capital town of Mambajao. The Sunken Cemetery of Camiguin Island is a 10-minute drive away. In all my years of traveling for work, Kurma's staff was really the most attentive and fun people I have interacted with. They are truly its crown jewels. Unfortunately, due to my schedule to do work on the island, I didn't get to try free diving which I hope to do next time I visit. The overall resort vibe is a welcome relief to the noise and pollution of city living. Ohhh and we're not vegetarians but the food here is delicious!!!!

Camiguin Volcan Beach Eco Retreat & Dive Resort is a 10-minute drive to the Sunken Cemetery and Mambajao Airport. White Island is a 15-minute drive and boat ride away. The owner Gabriel was one of the best I ever been in contact with. He hade great knowledge and helped me and everybody else get the most out of the visit. Great restaurant. I rekomend the chili fish. We also did diving that was better then expekted. A big plus for the sunsets by the water.
