Facing the beachfront, Sabai Beach Resort offers 3-star accommodation in Ko Mak and features a garden, terrace and restaurant. One of the cheaper options on the island this resort was absolutely perfect for my 2 day stay - a 5 minute walk from the speedboat along the beach to Sabai everything was perfect - owned a run by Sandie a lovely French lady who made me a home made French bread served with honey and a cheese omlette with filtered coffee - room was great clean AC worked and WIFI was strong in room and around the resort including the wonderful beach - book here you wont have any complaints

The 2022-23 season management, a Norwegian named Ivo, made our stay extra special. Without him it would have been fine but with his care, advice and help it was spectacular. Thank you Ivo - wish you were there another year.

Seabreeze @ Koh Mak has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Ko Mak. The 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. Really enjoyed our 5-day stay here and could have remained indefinitely. The pool and view is excellent, view from the rooms, very spacious, good air conditioning, warm water, able to rent a motorbike directly at the resort, and good breakfast with choices. The owner, Pepe, was present and enjoyed chatting with him. Rented a kayak down the road (at his partner’s resort) and had a great trip out to Koh Rayang.

Set in Ko Mak, 600 metres from Ao Soun Yai Beach, Hanoii House offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Noi and her staff went beyond my expectations. I would happily stay there again. The location is great, just a short walk to restaurants and beaches. Noi arranged for a motorbike rental delivered to Hanoii house and also arranged for my departing ferry, all at good prices.

Offering a garden and garden view, Koh Mak Garden View is located in Ko Mak, 2.3 km from Ao Soun Yai Beach and less than 1 km from Police Station. The accomodation , the staff and the surrounding flowers , trees and environment are second to none. Zero noise and waste pollution . An extra bonus is a good and affordable resto as well as a grocery less then 50 meter away. This place and the whole island is a dream for people who want to escape mass tourism.

Boasting river views, Koh Mak Living offers accommodation with balcony, around 2.5 km from Police Station. There is a private entrance at the villa for the convenience of those who stay. The room was very clean and cozy, silent and working air condition, location was great, they also picked up us from the pier and got us taxi to drive us back to the pier. The host was excellent, very friendly, very smiley and happy with full of life welcoming the guests. Professional host.

Upon arrival, I was captivated by the expansive outdoor area, which includes a large patio right on the beach and a spacious balcony with a big dining table (perfect for game nights and inviting new friends over). There’s even an outdoor bed to relax on after a day at the beach. The room itself is quite large, comfortable, and surrounded by big windows that offer panoramic sea views. The bathroom is adequately sized with hot water, and basic toiletries are provided. The kitchen is well-equipped with a kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave, dishes, and everything you need for a pleasant stay. Moreover, the landlady, So (Natida), is wonderful. Booking this place not only means a great stay but also getting to know So. She goes above and beyond—from arranging bike rentals delivered right to your door to handling your laundry and maintaining the cleanliness of the hut. So is always there for her guests, genuinely caring about your experience and offering help whenever needed. She's truly a special person. Note that I initially planned to stay for 14 days and ended up extending it to 45 days. That’s how perfect this place and the island are!
