The staff was super helpful all the time and nice people :) Rooms were clean and well AC'd, no need to worry about insects here so for me that means a good night sleep, also the most lovely dogs 😍

Ko Makis asuv majutusasutus jääb Ao Soun Yai rannast 1,1 km kaugusele. TK Beach Resort Koh Mak pakub majutust koos aia, tasuta privaatse parkimise, terrassi ja restoraniga. I had a beach front cottage . The owner Evoneas very kind and helpful. Great reasonably priced restaurant.

Really enjoyed our 5-day stay here and could have remained indefinitely. The pool and view is excellent, view from the rooms, very spacious, good air conditioning, warm water, able to rent a motorbike directly at the resort, and good breakfast with choices. The owner, Pepe, was present and enjoyed chatting with him. Rented a kayak down the road (at his partner’s resort) and had a great trip out to Koh Rayang.

Makathanee kuurort asub otse Ao Kratuengi rannal, Koh Maki saarel. Toad ja välibassein paiknevad troopilistes maastikukujundusega aedades. Makathanee was a great place to stay at Koh Mak. We came directly to the pier from Koh Chang, got into the spacious bungalow quickly and enjoyed our time here with an amazing view to the ocean. Close by shops, restaurants and massages (walking distance only minutes). Hotel booked a snorkeling trip for us with only 6 guests which was great. Also nice private beach, also to go for longer walks in both directions. However, a scooter rental is helpful to see also other areas of the island.

Huts are kozy and elegant, the view from the room was spectacular, and the beach is beautiful! The place lives up to its name, with and manages to both be remote and tranquil, while being less than 10 minutes from "the centre" with restaurants etc. Jake, who works in the reception and bar is an excellent host! He is super helpful and knows the Island well , he orders delicious food, has great stories to tell and is an awesome guy!

Boasting a private beach along Suanyai Bay, Seavana Koh Mak Beach Resort features an outdoor pool, soothing massage treatments, and beach facilities services. Stayed in one of 6 beachfront suites for 6 nights. Picked up by staff at Ao Nid Pier on arrival and driven to Makathanee Pier after checking out. Firstly all staff (reception and restaurant) are courteous and helpful. They surprised me with special “treats” on my 60th birthday. Definitely the highlight of our stay. The beachfront villa is comfortable, quiet and spacious and clean. We didn’t use the jacuzzi but I love the upstairs lounge area which, like the bedroom downstairs, has an uninterrupted view of the beach, ocean and Koh Mak. The only sound is the calm waves. Staff clean the beach daily. Two lounge chairs at the back facing the klong provide a different view to enjoy. We used the happy-hour bar for cocktails and good sushi. Love to lounge there on bean bags. Breakfast at Daybed Restaurant, which is included, offers 6 different entrees, fresh fruits, yogurts, breads/nice jams (passionfruit especially) and coffee/tea. We had 4 dinners there and they didn’t disappoint. Service is excellent. Menu has extensive choices. Local Thai desserts are a must to try. The pool is refreshing but we swam at the beach mostly. We borrowed masks and snorkels at the reception. Beach is quite shallow but we saw some coral fish. Kayaks are free to rent for first couple of hours. You could rent motorbikes to roam around the small island but we rented a golf cart. However, the resort is within walking distance to Koh Mak Resort (to access Koh Kham by small boat), Cococape Resort (to access Blue Pearl Bar at the private pier for sunset and snorkeling many coral fish)and Ao Khao (to access the beach, restaurants/cafes, minimarts, shops and pharmacy). We enjoyed our stay at this resort.

Aia ja aiavaatega Koh Mak Garden View asub Ko Makis, 2,3 km kaugusel Ao Soun Yai rannast ja vähem kui 1 km kaugusel politseijaoskonnast. Puhkemajal on konditsioneer ja rõdu. The whole small complex is beautiful and the pictures on Booking.com don't do it any justice at all. The bed linine and towels were changed regularly and there are washing machines here to wash clothes and feel fresh again. There us nothing to dislike about this plave and great value for money. A/C in rooms is superb too. The gardens area is big and beautiful. 10/10 for me

Jõevaatega Koh Mak Living pakub rõduga majutust umbes 2,5 km kaugusel politseijaoskonnast. Villal on privaatne sissepääs, et muuta peatumise veelgi mugavamaks. The room was very clean and cozy, silent and working air condition, location was great, they also picked up us from the pier and got us taxi to drive us back to the pier. The host was excellent, very friendly, very smiley and happy with full of life welcoming the guests. Professional host.

If you're considering a trip to Koh Mak, this is your ideal stay! Nestled right on Oh Nid Pier, this delightful hut is just a three-minute walk from where you arrive and offers stunning beachfront views. You can listen to the soothing sounds of the waves all day—it’s incredibly relaxing and chill. The location is excellent since the island is small, allowing you to reach any destination within a maximum of 15 minutes on a motorbike. This place offers privacy and a personal retreat when you want to step back from the communal island life. The facilities truly stand out. Upon arrival, I was captivated by the expansive outdoor area, which includes a large patio right on the beach and a spacious balcony with a big dining table (perfect for game nights and inviting new friends over). There’s even an outdoor bed to relax on after a day at the beach. The room itself is quite large, comfortable, and surrounded by big windows that offer panoramic sea views. The bathroom is adequately sized with hot water, and basic toiletries are provided. The kitchen is well-equipped with a kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave, dishes, and everything you need for a pleasant stay. Moreover, the landlady, So (Natida), is wonderful. Booking this place not only means a great stay but also getting to know So. She goes above and beyond—from arranging bike rentals delivered right to your door to handling your laundry and maintaining the cleanliness of the hut. So is always there for her guests, genuinely caring about your experience and offering help whenever needed. She's truly a special person. Note that I initially planned to stay for 14 days and ended up extending it to 45 days. That’s how perfect this place and the island are!
