Hotel Formosa is certainly clean and modern looking. Rooftop pool area was our main aspect we loved the most. Our hotel room was comfortable and perfect for us! Staff made us feel welcomed.

This hotel is super luxurious. The location is amazing, the team is really nice and helpful and everything you need is thought about. There are "smart" light switches, end even a Marshall box to connect to your music. The shower is closed off so no fog goes to the rest of the bathroom and all necessities are there. The rooftop pool is amazing, with a perfect view. And the inside spa is a nice extra.

The breakfast was great (though, every hotel in Portugal could use more greens ;) ) Great rooftop pool and a well equipped gym. Loved our stay in the city and the hotel.

We live in Portugal and wanted to explore, Tavira and the surrounding area. The hotel was in a perfect location with a superb restaurant immediately outside the front door . Beautiful meal . Although there was no private parking it was easy to find street parking a few minutes walk away . Breakfast was served on the decking outside . Quite a basic breakfast but adequate , although service quite slow . We had a room overlooking the pool and courtyard area . Perfect !! Our room had an enormous and very comfy bed . Tea making facilities available in the room but no milk available despite a fridge in the room .

The hosts were very friendly and eager to talk and listen to you too.
