Hotel in Dharavandhoo
Located in Finolhus in the Baa Atoll Region, 15 km from Baa Atoll, Kiha beach features an outdoor pool and views of the sea. I cannot find one bad thing about this hotel! We had such a lovely stay. It is a cosy, quite and a very comfortable place. All the staff is very polite, attentive and always greets you with a smile. The choice of food is very good (buffet for breakfast, luch and dinner), especially for the small size of the hotel, with fresh fruits cut and desert for every meal. We are a family with three kids, but the hotel is also a perfect place for solo travellers or couples. We did three trips organized by the hotel: (1) dolphin watching+ sunset cruise+ night fishing, (2) snorkling trip with BBQ lunch on an uninhabited island, (3) snorkling trip with visiting a sandbank. All the trips were amazing and very well organized. My 8 year old daughter and 4 year old twins swam in the open ocean under supervision of the staff - we felt so safe with them. We also liked the idea of staying on an island, where local people live, with grocery shops, souvenirs shops and few restaurants available. I would advise to take special shoes for swimming. When there is a low tide, the area of sandy beach decreases and it is hard to walk on stones and on the coral reef. There is a nice swimmig pool with a salty water (water changed every 3 days) - great idea - our children loved it!

Hotel in Baa Atoll
Facing the beachfront, Clarks Exotica, Kamadhoo Maldives offers 4-star accommodation in Baa Atoll and has an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge and terrace. Location: 2h from Male by speedboat or 1h with domestic flight. Ravin from the reception arranged everything for us, so we didn’t have to think about anything. Bikini beach is just 5-7 mins from the hotel, and it’s really easy reachable. Beach is very clean and you can find sun beds already there. A lot of trees as well, so you will have plenty of natural shade. Accommodation: Our accommodation at Clark Exotica Hotel was a haven of comfort and elegance. The spacious and well-appointed rooms provided us with stunning views of the ocean, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The attention to detail in the room's design and amenities was impeccable, ensuring a truly luxurious stay. Dining: The dining experience at Clark Exotica Hotel was a culinary delight. The restaurant showcased a diverse menu, offering a delectable fusion of international and local cuisine. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Veer and Ram, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our meals were memorable. Of course, there is an amazing Chef without whom this wouldn’t be possible. Their warm hospitality and attentiveness added an extra touch of comfort and personalized care to our dining experience. We were also impressed with the rest of the staff, who consistently displayed a genuine dedication to guest satisfaction. Romantic Experiences: During our stay, we were treated to a truly special romantic dinner at the beach. The setting was nothing short of magical, with the soft glow of candlelight and the gentle sound of waves lapping against the shore. The culinary delights prepared for us were exquisite, and the attentive staff ensured that every moment of our intimate evening was filled with romance and enchantment. On our last night, the hotel organized a mesmerizing Bodu Beru dance performance for us.

Hotel in Dharavandhoo
Situated in Dharavandhoo and with Dharavandhoo Beach reachable within a few steps, Violet Inn Hotel features concierge services, rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge.... I recently stayed at this hotel and found it not bad. However, what truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible service provided by the manager, Afou, and a staff member, Jinane. They went above and beyond to create a bespoke experience for us, turning our stay into something truly memorable. Afou and Jinane organized a custom snorkeling trip where we had the amazing opportunity to swim with turtles and even tried to spot some nurse sharks. Their knowledge of the local marine life and the best spots for snorkeling was impressive. The highlight of the trip was visiting a sandbank and an uninhabited island, both of which boasted crystal clear waters and breathtaking scenery. It felt like we were in a little slice of paradise. This personalized adventure greatly compensated for the otherwise average room. The effort and dedication Afou and Jinane put into ensuring our stay was unique and enjoyable were truly commendable. Thanks to their extraordinary service and the incredible experiences they curated for us, our stay at the hotel became an unforgettable one. I would return for the exceptional hospitality and the remarkable experiences that they expertly arranged.

Staying at Anantara Kihavah for our honeymoon exceeded all our expectations, and our holiday on the beautiful island was truly magical! We were greeted onto the island by bongo’s,the staff welcoming us on the pier and serving us fresh coconut water before our lovely villa host,Harnie drove us on a buggy through the lush island plantations to our incredible, newly renovated, spacious and private over water villa, which offered full sea and beach view, and from where we enjoyed complete tranquility. The staff was impeccable! They always went out of their way to make each of our experiences memorable and personalized, remembering our names, surprising us with honeymoon cake, champagne and decorations and always offering us our preferred drinks for breakfast and dinner. Every night, we were taken on an amazing culinary journey at one of the five incredible restaurants, that offer cuisines from around the world and each in a beautiful setting, overlooking the water. Our favorite restaurants were “spice” and “sea” - Sea is the under water restaurant, from where we were taken on a gastronomic journey of a five course meal, six meters under water, experiencing the “message in a bottle” immersive dinner whilst marveling at the sharks, stingrays and more fish than you can imagine, peacefully swim around us in unison. The amazing execute chef,Joachim prepared our dessert on the table, like a masterpiece too beautiful to eat,and he was always present at the restaurants, ensuring guests were enjoying their outstanding meals. Another “wauw” experience was the snorkeling, which we thoroughly enjoyed and we were so impressed by the abundance of marine creatures and sea life, swimming around, just feet below the surface of the Indian Ocean. It felt so calm under the water, and as though the fish were inviting us to join them in their underwater World. Anantara Kihavah is truly one of the BEST resorts we have ever stayed at and we loved every moment of this unforgettable honeymoon.
This was a bucket list, 50th birthday treat and was everything I hoped for and more! The staff were fantastic-from arrival in Male, to seaplane, to boat arrival at coco palm, and every day until we left! Service was exceptional and everyone greeted you with a smile and how are you. It felt very genuine too and not forced. Highlights were our amazing lagoon villa which was maintained daily by Kashim (he added extras for my birthday too!) and the lovely Saeed at the restaurant who noticed small things like how I liked my tea! The turtle sanctuary was informative and the volunteers were just lovely and even the gift shop owner was great to talk to. And I swam with a reef shark and a stingray who were just hanging out in the lagoon! Wow!
It has been a week since we've come back from paradise on Earth. The beauty of the Maldives cannot be described, but the amazing experience of staying at Dusit Thani Maldives, which was simply perfect, can. To be perfectly honest, almost everything exceeded my (very high) expectation. The resort is a beautiful jungle/garden and cycling through it is a pleasure for all the senses (especially in the evenings, when you can smell frangipani). We have stayed in one of the ocean villas. The views were simply stunning. The villa was very spacious and cosy, and even though the furniture is not brand new, it is full of drama. Plus, they have the most comfortable pillows my head had ever touched. The big highight-and what convinced us to stay in the resort-is the Thai restaurant Benjarong with it amazing chef and staff-we were usually attended by Novika (foodie as myself, so she could provide great recommendation) and James, who was also super nice and attentive. After having dinner at Benjarong the first night, we booked all of our meals there (with the exception for the night of Eid celebration, when we dined on the beach with live local music and dancing-thanks Sharif. I especial recommend the soft shell crab with curry - powder, the lamb chops, and my favourite dish in the universe-the Thai green curry. My husband fell in love with the dessert with water chestnuts and ended up eating it twice a day 🙂 (and of course I ended up taking the Thai cooking class). Another highlight for the foodies was breakfast. while the choices of "western" food, pastries is impressive, my very favourite (and I had it every single day) was the noodles station. Also, make sure you try the passion fruit jam which is to die for. You can always ask Mona (yet another, cheerful foodie) for recommendations. Moving from the food... Above the Thai 'restaurant is the Sata bar. My husband took the cocktail making class there and we met a very gifted bar attender Amita.
Wonderful Beach, Staff, colorful fishes and corals
I can't say enough good things about this place. The owner went beyond what was expected to accommodate everyone's needs. He and the entire crew of the guest house is so nice and kind. The island is a paradise, the food is great, the excursions gorgeous and the guest house is clean and peaceful. Do not doubt to come here!
That was our first time at Maldives, and Amilla makes us fully fall in love with it. Nature and care of it in this place is beautiful. Marvelous riff full of fish and green jungles on island. Our villa was fantastic. Service in every little pieces on high level great thanks for every one who was taking care of us during this vacation. Will come back soon!
Everything was just perfect, the service was exceptional the staff are super friendly specially our waiter manish and the chef as well was approachable and cooking a very delicious dishes the Rooms are on the perfect size the reef was colorful and very nice
Food was lovely and varied. All inclusive at the bars was great - didnt matter nothing in room as there was a little bar near the water villas and sunset bar near the beach. Great dive school. We went in July - the weather was great for us - didnt stop us doing anything. We turned up on a New Moon in July meaning the mantas were in Hanifaru Bay for the 3 days leading up to and on the New Moon - incredible! Have a look at Ocean Ramsey on Instagram to see what I mean. We missed 2 whale sharks by a couple of mins - next time! We saw lots of other lovely sealife incl. sharks, eagle rays and the fish feeding session - I was a little concerned about - was fine and well done. It's just a few small rays that come in each day. We saw dolphins, ribbon rays and many many fish! Fruit bats Loved the badminton, pool and table tennis. Pool looked a little small but was actually lovely and never crowded. Loved the beach/sea swings - all the swings. The staff were very good. One day we missed lunch due to a manta trip and they bought out dessert and fruit to keep us going.
This was our second stay at this property with a few years between… and Milaidhoo is even better now than when it first opened. The staff were exceptional. The food was impeccable, wonderfully highlighting Maldivian cuisine amongst a range of international dishes. The wine list holds its own against any Michelin starred restaurant, featuring the best wines of the new and old world. The resort reef is an absolute pleasure to snorkel or dive, and it’s within a few meters of the beach! Unlike many other reefs in SE Asia and the Pacific, there is no pollution here. We had some very heavy downpours during our stay over NYE but the staff accommodated, adapted and moved the events under cover without missing a beat. Simply exceptional.
We received a room upgrade on arrival that was much appreciated and enjoyed. The staff was warm and focused on making our stay as pleasant as possible. Illy coffee (nice touch)! Our dinner down at the beach shack was exceptional (seafood platter) and topped with a cake in celebration of my wife's birthday. Helping the marine biologist with the coral propagation project...there were dozens of other small details that made this an unforgettable stay!
We had the chance to tried couple of accommodations on the island, and blue world has the best vibes! The staff gave great service, special thank to Karthik the Manager, he was super informative and accommodating! Overall was excellent.
Very nice, clean and peaceful. Super friendly staff, good food and beautiful beaches.
Everything was extremely good The view , the sea , the facilities Special thanks to butler emma I hope that I'll visit it soon ☺️
The staff were friendly and attentive. Those in charge of room cleaning always did a wonderful job. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always delicious and there were a lot of selections. The bars were great especially watching sunset at the Beach Bar.
