The bungalow was very quiet with a good view to the ocean and very well equipped and tastefully decorated. A very large and comfortable bed and a perfect bathroom with a separate toilet. The outdoor bathtub is a very romantic idea. And I loved the noiseless fan. The restaurant had good food, it was perfect for dinner, besides there's no alternatives around. The staff was very kind. The car rental was handled by the hotel staff. The hotel has good policies for sustainability of the sea and the island, we appreciatet it very much. I hope we can return one day, because we falled in love for Island Rodrigues!

We had an amazing stay at Le Marin, the view on the sea is just breathtaking, it is just a few minutes from the best beach of Rodrigues. The rooms have a perfect size and beds (twin room) are comfy, very clean. The hotel is still doing the finishes to part of the construction but it did not at all bother us as it is on the other side, no noise . The restaurant offered really delicious local meals and was careful to my food allergies, grateful to the kindness of the staff for making our stay memorable despite the cyclone nearby. The infinity edge pool was sparkling and wonderful. We have been to Rodrigues several times we have been really happy here. Thank you !

Situated in Rodrigues Island, 16 km from Francois Leguat Reserve, Bon Vivant Front de Mer - Ile Rodrigues features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Everything: It is located right next to the Port Mathurin’s (Rodrigues Capital City) Bus Station, so every facility that you can imagine is nearby - banks, shops, markets, buses, taxis, you name it. The staff made my stay so authentic and fulfilling - Stenio and Christelle have been super welcoming, warm and trustworthy - that was irreplaceable. The bonus is that Bon Vivant Front de Mer is located in front of the sea. Such a serene place and very cosy - it is the best place for anyone who wishes to disconnect from the world. There is also a running track next to the hotel, so it’s pretty cool. I enjoyed how easy it was to walk to Anse aux Anglais beach.

Merlin Guest House is a property set in Saint Francois. Some rooms feature a kitchen and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available and on-site parking is provided. very very nice guesthouse in a perfect location. at first we had some misunderstandings because of language difficulties :) but the people are very nice and helpful, the food is amazing and the room very nice and comfortable. I would definitely come again and stay longer next time

Set in Rodrigues Island and only 13 km from Francois Leguat Reserve, Chez Tonio Magic Ocean View offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. I loved this property. The view was absolutely fantastic and a joy to wake up to every morning. The house was in a lovely secluded position on the hillside and so well equipped from a fridge freezer, great coffee machine, excellent Wifi and so much more. The owner was so responsive by text and the lovely Melissa was on hand if I needed anything. She also cooked me the best meal I had on the island. There was a great little shop down the road and excellent local restaurant with a bus stop at the end of the track to get into town or to the beach or It was a 15 minute if you fancied the walk to Mourouk beach. I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe. I cannot wait to go back and can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you are wanting to experience a beautiful authentic island off the beaten track. This accommodation offers it all. Situated in Rodrigues Island and only less than 1 km from Grand Bay Beach, Blue room Ocean view features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. It’s tremendously exciting for world travelers to find somewhere very special like Rodrigues Island, 600 km east of Mauritius. Even more intriguing is what the accommodation will be like so far from the populated world. The pick-up from the little airport was faultless despite a common Air Mauritius delay and we were greeted at the Blue Room by John who showed us around and settled us in. The accommodation is simple and entirely unpretentious where everything works, including (now wait for it) wifi that yields, another ‘wait for it’, 320 Mbps! Plenty of water for the shower, hot and cold, with uninterrupted power supply. John can make available a car, a robust 4x4, at rates that, as I told him, are far below market rates. The Blue Room overlooks the somewhat distant Indian ocean that is a short drive away in Anse aux Anglais, down the hill. Restaurant-wise, there’s not a hell of a lot going on in Rodrigues but the local village down the hill offers some animation in the way of two okay eateries and a little grocery store. It’s pretty too. So, it’s a great place to stay (without AC but good fans) and highly recommended indeed. Bravo John!
