Located within 1.1 km of Lighthouse Beach and 2.1 km of Sokcho Beach, Stay Hostel provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Sokcho. What an unbelievable experience! It was by far the best place we stayed at during our trip to South Korea. The staff is just lovely, very attentive and helpful, not to mention super positive :) The room with the sea view was gorgeous, clean, comfy, to the level that we didn't expect. There is also a spacious rooftop that the guest can use. The best place to stay in Sokcho, I wish we could stay longer.

Offering a complimentary shuttle bus, Pyeongchang Ramada Hotel & Suite by Wyndham features a convenient accommodation for skiing and having a leisure time with nature. The property is a traditional Korean Hanok and as such you roll out mattresses to sleep on the floor which in winter is heated and toasty warm, our kids loved the experience and it was perfect for our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids. Breakfast was warm Korean soup, Kimchi and pickles which was simmered for 24 hours on the outdoor stove in the centre of the Hanok which also fascinated the kids. The location is exceptional, in the centre of the cultural district near the palace, museums and lots of excellent restaurants it’s also a 20 minute walk to Kwang Jang market and along the route there are street food stalls a must if you like to try local food.

Gyungpo Soo Hotel is set in Gangneung, with Gyeongpo Beach just across the street and Gyoengpo Lake 100 metres behind the hotel. The location was the best part, literally a straight walk out the door onto the beach. Plus there were many great restaurants around the area. The staff were very nice and very helpful, a group of chatty nice guys! This place is pretty much my go-to for going to Gangneung/Gyeongpo

Gangneung Tourist Hotel is located 2 km from Gangneung KTX Station and Gangneung Express Bus Terminal. The hotel offers free WiFi in all areas as well as private on-site parking. We really enjoy the stay at Gangneung Tourist Hotel. Room facilities, bed size and the view to the lake are beyond my expectation. The location is so so good that all meals we have in Gangneung are just in walking distance. We definitely will come back to this hotel if our travel brings us to Gangneung next time.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. The staff prepared wine and snacks for us as a gift, which was so nice! The room was clean, had a nice interior and view, and the pool was great! Heavenmark in Sokcho is located on the beachfront in Sokcho, 80 metres from Lighthouse Beach and 6.5 km from Daepo Port. Nice place which is right in front of one beach so it was nice to enjoy summer holidays. The view is also amazing and easy to go to the central bus terminal. There's a convenience store to buy something. Inside is really clean.

Donghae Oceancity Residence Hotel is located on the beachfront in Donghae, 200 metres from Hanseom Beach and less than 1 km from Gamchu Beach. Staff were friendly and warm upon arriving and allowed for early check-in for only 20k. Room has great facilities such as washing machine and microwave which was very handy for our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to book again!
