There is simply nothing missing. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, a hot tub invites you to relax.

This property is near Akranes Harbour and 1.3 km from Akranes Museum Centre. It offers a pretty, hedged garden and a large, furnished terrace. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Amazing! We felt just like at home. If you visit Akranes, don´t forget to go swimming- hot tub + ocean!

Bard Cottage has spoiled me for the rest of my trip - it‘s the coziest cabin one could imagine. Surrounded by trees and a little garden it is completely secluded and a perfect get-away. Just a 10min drive from Borgarnes makes it perfect to both exploring the region and Snæfellsness peninsula as well as a stop before heading north or westwards. It comes with a perfectly and fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and a private hot tub. Furthermore it comes with all the little details that add up to a wholesome experience and make it special - a cozy sitting area and huge window front to observe the outside world and maybe Auroras while being all warm and tucked inside. There’s a Yoga mat for use, books, a TV - in short, Bard Cottage really feels like a home away. :) The hosts provided me with lots of valuable tips, where always reachable and provided me with great solution during the coldwave that hit during my stay. 100% recommend to stay, I‘ll definitely come back :)

It was simple, yet so beautiful and clean. There were warmers inside so even in a windy night it was really warm. Kitchen had dishes to cook and also coffe maker.
