JW Marriott Goa has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Vagator. A hot tub and a car rental service are available for guests. My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and absolutely loved it. The staff were all extremely helpful and made us feel truely pampered throughout our stay. A special thank you to Vikram in the JW Kitchen who made our stay extra special and one not to forget - he really went above and beyond! The hotel had a great variety of different food (all very delicious) and we also loved the gorgeous pool and generously sized gym. Overall this hotel exceeded all our expectations. We will definitely be back if every visiting Goa again, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional hotel experience.

The bright and hospitable owner-manager makes staying here a treat. Lucio has an MBA and it appears that he must have majored in customer service. He helped me get an Indian SIM card and a long-distance taxi to my next destination. I especially liked the quality loaner bicycles that made it ever so easy to get to the beach.-

HALF Hotel, Calangute offers rooms in Calangute near Candolim Beach and Calangute Beach. With a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Half Hotel is an outstanding lodging opportunity that should be your home in Calangute. I spent five nights there and everything went well. Architecturally, the hotel is modern with much glass and a pleasing connection between the interior and exterior. The wifi is very reliable and fast. The rooms are diverse and well appointed. I stayed in a well priced single room that made “small” perfectly comfortable with its well positioned electrical outlets, comfortable bed, and good storage. The free breakfasts are outstanding with a range of eggs, bread, beverages, etc. Also there are revolving, daily Indian dishes included in addition to the daily selections. Service is fast and you will not leave hungry. Charles, the owner, and his excellent staff are always available and happy to assist you with any questions or difficulties. I definitely look forward to returning.

Rauhallinen kaunis Palolem!
Palolem on erittäin turvallinen paikka. Ellet ole käynyt muualla Intiassa, haluan kertoa, että Goa ei ole tyypillistä Intiaa. Mutta mahtava paikka on Palolem. Pohjois-Goaan en matkustaisi. Palolem sopii henkilöille, jotka eivät halua asua loistohotellissa eikä halua uida uima-altaassa, vaan meressä. Turvallista!

Too much peddlers.
Too much peddlers. Kinda hard to relax, or read a book when someone is all the time trying to sell you some rubbish. And those peddlers always start their chatting: "you are so white!" 🙄 3-4 days is just enough in this place. If you want to relax, I recommend Palolem beach, or other places in south Goa. There is a lot fewer peddlers and hustle.
