Crover House Hotel & Golf Club is located on the North-East shores of Lough Sheelin Lake between Cavan and Ballyjamesduff. The staff went above and beyond and made us comfortable and even surprised us with a bottle of wine on the house for my partners birthday,leeann at the front desk was just amazing!

This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking. This property really opens the doors to yesterdays world, I love the way you can sit in the royal rooms and experience the castle as if you were a resident there, it’s truly a unique experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for romantic weekend away.

Ideally located on the outskirts of Cavan, the Cavan Crystal Hotel is less than 5 minutes' drive from the town centre. It was clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly!

Set in attractive landscaped gardens, Hotel Kilmore is in the heart of Ireland's Lakeland District, offering comfortable rooms, a restaurant and 2 bars. Cavan Town is a short drive away. I especially appreciated help you f Eveline who gave me a little heater to make my room worm faster. Even though the main heaters were already on and there was no problem. The receptionists were very kind as well and the staff in the restaurant were very professional and warm-hearted.

Our server at breakfast, Mary, was absolutely charming and nothing was too much trouble for her. She made the trip even more memorable. The walks were spectacular and the grounds were just too beautiful. Worth every penny!

Situated in the centre of Cavan town on the main street, The Farnham Arms Hotel features a bar and restaurant. Food was excellent, staff were very helpful and always friendly. Lovely hotel. Such a welcome change from the big chain hotels!!!

Featuring free WiFi, Lakeside Manor Hotel is located on the Cavan/Meath border, 11 km from Loughcrew Historical Gardens & Visitor Centre. Free private parking is available on site. Breakfast was wonderful with fine baking, perfect pouched eggs. I did sample the buffet over the visit, great variety.
