Hunguest Hotel Gyula is set in Gyula’s castle garden in the city of Gyula. It offers elegantly furnished rooms with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. This modern hotel facing the castle offers their guests large breakfast and dinner buffet in the price of the hotel. The price also includes access to the large, community swimming pool and thermal water pools. It is ideal for families with children, couples and groups. It is conveniently located about a 10 minute walk to the historical downtown section. One of the things that I enjoyed about this hotel was that in the evenings the guests are entertained with live music performance. My favorite was the man who played Spanish and Gypsie music. He created a fun atmosphere. The lobby also hosts some very nice art work by a local artists. Gylula is a city that has a lot to offer their visitors. I think, it was one of the loveliest cities I have seen in Hungary and also one of the cleanest. I especially liked visiting the museum next door that showed how the Hungarian aristocracy used to live.

Munkácsy Hotel ligt in een rustige wijk in Békéscsaba, op 10 minuten lopen van het centrum van de stad. Lovely little spa hotel an easy walk from the centre of town. The staff were lovely, the room very cute, and the spa facilities were decent. Breakfast was immense. As you would expect in Bekescsaba, the sausages were superb, but pork shoulder on offer too. Truly a breakfast of champions.

Arcanum Hotel ligt in Békéscsaba en wordt omgeven door een aangelegde tuin. Het biedt een spa en kamers met elegant meubilair en gratis WiFi. Ik kreeg een gratis kame upgrade, de kamer was fantastisch met een groot dakterras. Het uitzicht op de grote tuin was erg mooi. De badkamer was prachtig. Het ontbijt was ook goed. Personeel was erg vriendelijk. Parkeren was makkelijk naast het hotel.

Het elegante Corso Boutique Hotel ligt midden in het centrum van Gyula, op 10 minuten lopen van de Castle Spa. Het biedt kamers met airconditioning, en een moderne spa. Nice hotel, helpful staff, great breakfast with good variety. Wellness area is nice but the whirlpool has minimal capacity (3 people max comfortably).

Hotel Corvin ligt in de oude binnenstad van Gyula, op 8 minuten lopen van het Gyula Castle Bath en Spa Centre. Alle kamers zijn voorzien van WiFi en sommige kamers hebben airconditioning. Comfortable and clean accommodation, with some "curious" furniture around ;) , anyway, looks exciting. Good breakfast, great location and professional, friendly staff.

Het Elizabeth Hotel ligt in het centrum van 1 van de mooiste steden van het zuidelijke deel van de Grote Hongaarse Laagvlakte. I liked the castle-like place, the comfy beds, the excellent food and experience.

Bordűr Wellness Hotel Superior és Szőnyegmúzeum ligt in Békésszentandrás en heeft een bar en watersportfaciliteiten. Beautiful and very clean room with the big terrace that is connected to the outside pool with the river view. The pool was very heated in February, and we enjoyed it. The other pool was also good. The spa area has one small steam room, a small sauna, and a big inside and outside pool.
