Set in the National Park on Mljet Island, Hotel Odisej is located on the beach of Pomena. It is entirely air-conditioned and houses a restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available at the reception. I was a bit unsure about booking the hotel given some of the previous reviews - however I am so glad I did. There is so much to like value for money the food and importantly the staff. This is an old style Yugoslavian hotel and it has some of the issues you would expect from a hotel of this era - but the great bits outstrip any small issues. The National Park is amazing the lakes , you can catch a ferry to a little island on the lake, and the sea so clear - you can walk swim or hire a cycle - all on the door step as is the ferry terminal. During our stay the ferry was cancelled as the weather was poor the reception soon sorted out an extension to our stay. I would definitely stay again no hesitation. ( Also there is a lady with a home produce stand that sells preserves cheese fruit home grown figs where amazing)

Lovely welcome by Sandra and her son Angelo, plus a nice bottle of wine! Very spacious with 2 bathrooms, balcony and beautiful view. Very relaxing here.

The location was beautiful amazing views from the balcony and the pool. The Jacuzzi was just lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal rumor steak very delicious. We would definitely recommend a stay.
