The breakfast was sumptuous, and had this very homestyle feel. The location is just six minutes away from the Gubei Watertown and Simatai Great Wall. I wanted to see the Great Wall at night so I chose to stay here. The owner drove me to Gubei Watertown and back to the hotel so transportation was fine and good. Wifi was fine and the bed was huge. Again, the owners were so kind and friendly. I felt like a VIP.

The environment is very welcoming and cozy. the staff are warm and friendly, happy to help with any questions you might have. They even picked us up late in the evening from Gubei and drove us back the following day. It is a short hike to a beautiful section of the Great Wall, very few people on the wall and lots of wild sections. The staff helped us plan our route the night before. When we returned we had a nice lunch in the lobby.
