Location is quiet and a shirt walk or shuttle into the main town. Staff we very friendly and the restaurant served western food (which one may crave after a while)

Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel boasts a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 2 km from downtown Guilin. The location is very quiet and relaxing. The hotel is located in a cute little village, walking distance from the reed flute caves and there are many options for nice walks along the river. The hotel is very beautiful and the staff very helpful and friendly. We also did a tour organised by the hotel staff and it was superb.

Beautiful room with a relaxing tea room in the room, great for relaxing, reading a book and enjoying tea. Very clean hotel full of antiques from different dynasties as this hotel was previously a museum. Would have loved to stay longer and enjoy walks around the property. Good Chinese breakfast too. Real value for money!
