The restaurant is quite good and the wine list and whisky offerings are excellent and reasonably priced. Great all around value for the price. The proximity to hiking trails in Holyrood Park is a plus as are the lovely neighborhoods beyond the campus for walks.

Clear instructions and easy access to the lockbox to get our key on the way in, and super fast check out (drop a key in a slot and go). Nice neighborhood-- busy street but mostly residential or guest houses like this one, with some lovely restaurants just up the road and easy enough access walking into the city, or to the Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat. Breakfast is incredible. You can get a great dinner there also for 20 Pounds. It is on a direct bus line service to city center.

Great that there was a full kitchen, with all needed utensils, cookware, plates etc. and microwave, oven fridge. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room is spacious with a large bathroom and large shower. The breakfast was exceptional, with freshly cooked scottish breakfast and buffet. The staff were very friendly. There is onsite car parking which is free. The location is great for Holyrood park and Arthurs seat, literally minutes away. The castle is approx 30 minutes walk away.
