Food, : Dinner and breakfast good. Buffet breakfast well stocked, but hot food not really hot. Service was excellent. The staff were efficient and friendly
Beautiful guest house , tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great , good choice and quality . Very attentive service .
We arrived late and were exhausted. Annelise couldn’t be more accommodating. She quickly provided an adapter for our US chargers and recommended the Bistro next door for dinner. Our room was spotless, with many breakfast items available for the morning. The village is very quaint.
Couldn't get for dinner as they had a bus load in n said it would be 7.30 before we ate but it was after 8 bus still there went to local fish n chips
Staff were welcoming, helpful, with a wonderful attitude in providing as good a service as possible, and full of smiles and banter, despite clearly working flat-out. Dinner in the restuarant and breakfast were good.
Staff were really friendly, easy check in. There is a path at the front of the inn that takes you under the main road to the gorgeous Loch. The rooms are really spacious and bed was comfortable. We stayed in a room with our 10yr old and they put a roll away bed in for him also very comfortable. Had dinner in the restaurant with live music and again great staff. The food was good pub grub, good portion and fresh. Check out was easy and the lovely girl at front desk gave us butterscotch’s on our way out :)
The food was really, really good, which you don't normally expect from a hotel restaurant. They have some award winning pie and a very good selection of beers and liquor, so even when we were totally rained in, it wasn't a problem at all.
Location amazing, in sight of the Loch just a short walk away. West Highland Way walking trail runs past the entrance. Very quiet at night. Lodge was well equipped so we cooked some of the time and used the BBQ though there is a Pub almost next door if you prefer to eat out. It was busy though, booking for dinner recommended. Friendly and helpful owner, not on site but easy to contact by phone, grateful for me reporting a couple of maintenance issues.
- The location, we had amazing views to the lake. - There’s a bar just next to the guest house where we had a very tasty dinner. - the room was nice with smart TV, comfy bed and nice bathroom.
