Really nice place to stay to explore Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook. Beautiful location on the lake and in the village, a short walk to everything. The dorm rooms have bunk beds with privacy curtains and charging points with lockers to store your stuff. Great for a few nights stay.

This busy, well-run, lake front hostel is 1km from the nearest store, so a clear view of the milky way can be seen with the naked eye.
