The suites are located in a renovated building and were beautifully appointed and provided all the amenities needed to provide for a carefree visit. UMA is not a hotel but has a dedicated front desk staff who were most helpful providing directions and dining recommendations. Barcelona is a very large city and the street configuration can be very confusing (next time I will buy a SIM card). However, the location was very central and allowed us to walk to all the tourist sightseeing locations without difficulty. Although the streets are very crowded we never felt unsafe at any time.

Set in a restored 19th century building, rooms at Violeta Boutique feature contemporary décor. All include city views, free Wi-Fi, a plasma TV and a spacious private bathroom. Great locations, easy check it, super friendly staff, beautiful and comfortable room. Very comfortable beds. When you closed the balcony door you couldn’t hear any noise from the street. We were leaving in the evening so we also could leave the luggage in the hotel.

All rooms at the Ciudadela are heated, and there is a TV. Most rooms have a work desk and a private balcony. It's a small hotel but the room was bigger than we expected with provision for storing luggage and hanging clothes and such. They also have a pantry where guests can eat with a refrigerator and microwave for use of guests and water and coffee available at all times. The roof deck was also a nice surprise with various seating areas and view of Barcelona. There is also a supermarket and a lot of restaurants nearby.

Pensió Bellmirall is located in the centre of Girona’s Old Town, just 100 metres from the cathedral. The simple rooms have private bathrooms, and there is a free Wi-Fi hotspot.

The rooms are decorated with antique-style furniture. Many have original stone walls, and all have heating. Everything! Fantastic location, people, historic building. Will definitely return to explore Girona and area more. Game of Thrones was filmed in Girona.

She is the director/manager of the hotel and made sure everything was meeting our needs, and did this with such happiness. I will miss seeing her! She’s wonderful! The staff very nice, the breakfast was fresh & yummy each morning. I love the rooftop garden & the decor/style of the hotel. I want to stay there again! Highly recommend.

Looking for a one/two night stopover then fully recommend Manel and his family residence.

The property features river views and is 1.1 km from Artigas gardens and 13 km from El Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. The guest house has family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Wonderful hosts, at a beautiful comfortable little hotel that has a beautiful dinning area and a lovely breakfast. The room was comfortable and newly renovated. We went with a little dog and the hosts were very friendly and kind. All in all a beautiful experience and definitely recommend

The bed was super comfortable, the room super big and the tub simply amazing! The location is right on the beach and next to the central station. The stay was just perfect
