The room was gorgeous, spotless and there was a welcome book with a few excellent recommendations as well as little welcome goodies. Check in, check out, suitcase storage etc were all seamless. The property features garden and city views, and is 18 km from Rembrandt House. The guest house has private entrance. The venue was great value, clean and comfortable. Our host was super friendly and helpful giving us good advice and ideas. Also offering to loan supplies. Was easy to catch bus into Amsterdam and saved a lot of money that way (much cheaper than accommodation in town). Purmerend itself was a lovely town too.

The room was beautiful and had the cutest garden. Fatos, the host, is one of the nicest and most helpful people I have met. She had amazing recommendations for restaurants, bars, and cafes. I had mentioned we were visiting for our Anniversary and she had a little surprise for us, which I thought was a very sweet personal touch. In general, the place is in a great location and is within walking distance of several landmarks (Anne Frank house is <5 mins walk), bars and restaurants. Would definitely come back and stay here on my next visit as well!

Great breakfasts finely served and left each morning discreetly at the room door. Privacy - one doesn't hear the neighbours even if they are surely at home. A lot of light in the room (one can use curtains of course) and a wonderful exit from the room directly onto the lawn in front of the house where one can sit in a chair and enjoy the sun. Friendly and helfpul hosts. Great bathroom fittings. The room is a simple but stylish design and had everything we needed during our stay. The bed is big and comfortable. Cleanliness. A dedicated room for bicycles in the house.
