Only 10 minutes from restaurants cafes, the main high street and the waterside. Car parking is good. The owners also had a very formative information pack with lots of recommendations. We used 4 if their food place suggestions

The setting is beautiful, although the gardens had suffered in the heat of summer but we could imagine how wonderful they would have been. The self catering chalet felt like home and was very comfotable. The owner, Joy, was very pleasant and informative. We wished we had stopped here on a previous visit to York.

We had such a lovely stay at Lisa and Keiran's Inn. It was so incredibly charming and perfectly curated. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the rooms were fully equipt and comfortable, and the property very quiet and relaxing. There was plenty of tea and an afternoon snack provided, fridge in the room with heated towel rack for the shower, and very comfortable beds. The location is a perfect walking distance into town, the the hosts were absolutely lovely, not much more you could ask for! Thank you for a nice get-away stay
