It was away from the buzz and noise and quite near the beach. Our host was exceptionally attentive and professional in all his handling. My husband and I also liked the flooring of the bathroom! The bed has a net all around to keep the flies/mosquitos away, which is great!

This was the best place I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka. It’s clean and tastefully decorated. Staff are friendly and helpful. There’s no breakfast but there’s a shared kitchen guests can use and a small fridge and kettle in the room too. You can also order breakfast delivery from a nearby restaurant via WhatsApp. There’s A/C and a fan. The pool is clean and pleasant. It takes 5 minutes to get onto the main road and 2 more to the beach. The location is quiet and surrounded by greenery. I’d definitely stay again!

Ishan was an incredibly welcoming and helpful host! He helped us book a tuktuk to Matara and figure out how to catch a highway bus back to Colombo after our stay. He even went out of his way to help us catch a peacock sighting in the backyard. Ishan's mom's cooking is amazing—we highly recommend the fish curry for lunch/dinner, made with fish caught by Ishan's dad! Thanks Ishan & family for the amazing stay :)

Great location, 15 minute walk away from the beach and all the restaurants in Mirissa, but still quiet at night. Staff were very generous and hospitable. Offered tea/coffee and homemade snacks upon arrival. Breakfast was included in the price, and was varied with each day was a different dish. Hosts were attentive, offering advice, laundry services, and any extras we needed. If we were to return to Mirissa, we would stay here again!

Very close to the beach however in a great location so the hostel stays very quiet. Rooms are massive and all the beds have curtains and the toilets and showers and main spaces were cleaned everyday. Very quiet aircon and great storage space. Also nice kitchenette with multiple people cooking. Would really recommend!

Rooms not big, but comfortable and cozy. The owners are very hospitable and kind, trying to help with all questions. The hostess is preparing very tasty breakfasts and lunch. You can rent a scooter, book an excursion - whale watching, also available laundry service. I recommend this lovely guest house to everyone.
