Quiet but close to subway station, grocery store, restaurants, etc. Short ride with the subway to Manhattan, Times Square and other points of interest. The apartment was very clean and the hosts are great, always ready to assist if needed. Will surely stay again if I go back to New York.

Loved the decor with all of the Harlem Renaissance references. The lobby was always a vibe with great music, people, atmosphere. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where I’d actually want to spend time in the lobby! The staff were all fun and friendly. Loved the iconic location right next to the Apollo!

The location is very accessible to the subway and buses. I also walked a lot and used the CityBikes for getting around. My room was spacious, quiet and clean. It was a very unique space which I liked. And a funky neighbourhood.

Boothe was the best host: welcoming, friendly and fun. We had a great chat on the first day and I felt at home right off the bat! The room was huge, gorgeous and spotless! The bed was comfy but a bit too soft for me. Each to their own tho. The location was perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown NY but within easy reach thanks to the subway around the corner. And safe for a solo female traveler!

Excellent location, a few blocks away from Metro station. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and beautiful. The room was super clean. Highly recommended if you want to stay in the Uptown.
