And everything around the area is lovely and easy walk to metro and Tram stations. The terrace restaurant with panoramic views. One could sit there for hours. The room. Simple, elegantly designed and meets all the requirements. The staff. Super friendly and caring. They understand ‘guest services’ like very few hotels do.

Boasting a bar and a terrace, DeCamondo Galata, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is set in Istanbul, 0.2 km from Galata Tower and 1.6 km from Spice Bazaar. Wow, the location was fantastic. It allowed us to see a lot of things as almost everything is walking distance. The staff were superb, great at every level. It is more then recommended as you can see almost everything in a short time. The rooftop is a great addition and parking for free in Istanbul is a bonus.

Attractively located in the centre of Istanbul, DORUK PALAS HOTEL features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. We booked this hotel based on the huge amount of positive reviews but I will admit we were a bit skeptical about believing them. I am so pleased to say this hotel lived up to the hype - an excellent location, a spotless room that was thoroughly cleaned every day and the friendliest and most helpful staff who were available all day every day. Special mention also to the highlight of our trip - Mr Osman, the hotel’s feline Head of Security. We would not hesitate to stay here again next time we visit Istanbul.

Set in Istanbul, within 1.3 km of Galata Tower and 1.3 km of Spice Bazaar, Hotel Momento Golden Horn offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. We got a room with an exceptional view (sea view at 7th floor). The room was duly cleaned up daily, with a nice bathroom (large shower). We especially enjoyed the breakfast and restaurant service (open from 7:30am until 10:30pm) - the breakfast was excellent (beyond our expectations), with typical Turkish food, the personnel were very kind and attentive to their clients needs, with cooks preparing our favorite dishes upon request on the spot. The restaurant is on the Michelin guide, we went there a couple of times to have dinner (from the restaurant you get a fantastic view on the galata bridge, the Bosporus, the Eminönü district and some outstanding mosques). At the reception, Serdar helped us with our many requests, ensuring a safe and fast connection to the airport (both ways) - always showing a nice, respectful and diligent attitude. The location is also strategic, close to all the main transportation means (buses, ferries, etc). This place was an excellent choice and we highly recommend it. We recommend to book it with breakfast included, it is totally worth it.

Walton Hotels Galata is located in the Beyoglu district in Istanbul, 200 metres from the Galata Tower, Sishane Metro Station and Istiklal Street, the area is known for restaurants, local shops, night... We loved staying at Walton hotel! The staff support was an exceptional! The bar on the roof terrace is super cosy to have very delicious cocktails prepared by very friendly staff!

Situated in Istanbul and with Galata Tower reachable within 500 metres, The Han Residence Haliç features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a... Location is great for getting around the city. Views from the room of the Bosphorus, Excellent. Sadrettin was always there to help with anything from room enquiries to transport and advice. It's a traditional working mans area, everyone is really friendly. The hotel is clean, comfortable and great value for money.

Set in Istanbul, 1.4 km from Spice Bazaar, Galata Greenland Hotel features views of the city. This 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and free WiFi. Everything was good, the customer service and the receptionist was very helpful! The room we got was also comfy.

Situated in the centre of Istanbul, Casa De Port Hotel İstanbul is set 1.2 km from Spice Bazaar and 500 metres from Galata Tower. Casa De Port hotel probably has the biggest rooms for the price (30sqm compared to 15sqm offered by other hotels for the same rate) and all facilities are new. We loved the location a lot - it’s a walking distance to Galata Tower and the bridge, 2 minutes away from a tram stop that can take you to Blue Mosque and Sophia Mosque, and has multiple cute cafes in the street behind it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Yasin who helped us get taxi cabs that agreed to use a meter (which is one of the biggest challenges in Istanbul so be prepared for that!) We will definitely stay again!

Conveniently situated in the centre of Istanbul, Csk The Halich Port İstanbul provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. This 4-star hotel offers a bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided very good tips on the area.

Set in the centre of Istanbul, Union Hotel Karaköy is located 400 metres from Galata Tower and 1.2 km from Spice Bazaar. The spot is great, the room was very clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. The room has a minibar with low prices.
