The award-winning, 4-star Galway Bay Hotel overlooks Galway Bay and is situated on Galway’s Blue Flag beach. The breakfast was exceptional. The cooked breakfast was delicious - especially the sausages - and the wide variety on the buffet table meant we tried something new every day. The staff were quick to seat us and bring us tea and coffee, providing superb service all week.

Situated in the heart of Salthill, Holiday Hotel is close to the waterfront of Galway bay, and just 20 minutes’ walk from Galway centre. Reminded me of the famous song " Hotel california" beach vibes 60's feel and a solid " Guinness" on tap in the same building. Definitely be back. Sound staff

The friendly, warm and affordable Wards Hotel and Pub is located in the Lower Salthill area of Galway City. A 10-minute stroll will bring you to the city centre. They were extremely kind and helpful. We had a quiet, comfortable stay and the food was delicious. We will definitely stay again next visit.

Located within 600 metres of Grattan Beach and 600 metres of Ladies Beach, Shoreline Apartments offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Galway. Great location - was aware about the promenade, but not about the famous pub around the corner. Great rooms and comfy beds. If you are looking for a stylish modern apartment you are at the right place. If you look for something traditional, you are wrong. We had trouble in the apartment and the service was good.

The Wave is a family-run townhouse B&B offering 4 guest bedrooms situated in a residential area where Salthill meets Galway City centre. The Wave features free private parking on site and free Wi-Fi. The hosts Caroline and John were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. They gave us great ideas for where to go in Galway and Salthill for museums, dining and fun and helped us figure out how to get there. The breakfasts were excellent.

Set in a period house, right opposite the bus stop to Galway city centre and 400 metres from the beach, St Judes B&B sits in a landscaped garden. Interesting and tasty choice of breakfast options beyond the ubiquitous 'full Irish'. Salthill is a combination of the bay and the city. The house is characterful and distinctive.
