The staff is very helpful and attentive to the details and requests, they upgraded our room category for Birthday with amazing views. The resort is very clean with soul touching flowers around which complete the stunning nature of the location
Only one point to put attention for visitors - transportation from the ferry station on arrival to the resort which may take over an hour of waiting in the queue and more expensive when 1,5 lovely ferry boat journey to reach the Island
Highly recommend The Roof Ada whilst visiting the Prince Islands and Thank you for our memorable stay!

Lovely place to escape to when you want to get away from the...
Lovely place to escape to when you want to get away from the madness of Istanbul. It has a lot of derelict but gorgeous buildings, a lot of history, beautiful mansions and buildings and is just a cute lil place to go for a walk or ride a bike. As a small island, it's possible to get around the whole place by bike in a couple of hours. There are a lot of beaches, but most of them require payment. It's a day trip, but if you are there for a couple of nights then you can visit more than one of the islands.jglricheyNetherlands - 10Scored 10
Adalar is a great place to unwind.
Adalar is a great place to unwind. Having said that, there are frequent boats into Istanbul (and other islands) if you want some more activity/sightseeing etc. Chilled experience - we ate in various places in town. I'd probably avoid those overlooking the sea ... places in the streets behind are less touristy, better value and generally provide a nicer experience. There are good buses, although we walked everywhere - and there are loads of places to hire bicycles. Generally a lovely place to chill, do a bit of exercise and have a slower pace of holiday life.

The chef is wonderful, and we had the best dinner of our whole stay at the hotel. The staff is super friendly, were comfortable with our kids splashing in the pool all day (it was a game changer). The property is spread out on several levels nearing the sea. My family and I stayed right at the entrance. But for a little more money we could have gotten areas closed to see, and even more closer yet.

Our host was extremely helpful, very pleasant and made us feel at home. The Turkish breakfast was outstanding. The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area. Büyükada is a great location for a brief autumn holiday, nice walks, good restaurants, interesting old houses in the main town, good and very affordable ferry connection to Istanbul, that run late into the evening.
