We liked the location, the fact that we were leaving among locals and no touristic resorts were near. We loved the nature around it, the monkeys and many birds (many hornbills).
You can rent the scooter directly with the host. The hosting family is really nice.

The MOST memorable stay of my trip in Thailand!! The couple that runs this guesthouse are the sweetest people ever. They treat you as their family and you really experience the local lifestyle.
“Oup” (male owner) build the whole house himself and it took him 7 years: he added so much love, character and details in this place 👌 He is also a jewelry-and woodwork artist and he likes to involves others in his work. Oup made beautiful jewelry for me and learned me how to make jewelry.
His wife “Me” is a lovely women, always smiling and bringing good vibes. She loves to cook and invited me to join for meals and cooking together, which was amazing! There are also 2 cute cats part of the family.
At the moment there’s a problem with the water system, so you shower with a bowl water from a bucket (oldschool local style). For me this was not a problem and it added something to the whole experience.
If you need to get something arranged like a scooter, island trips etc. than Oup is there to help you with everything needed.
Thank you again Oup & Me for this wonderful experience. I will never forget this and I hope to be back once again ✨

Spectacular views from the terrace and the mini pool on the terrace. Spacious, clean villa. Inexpensive scooters can be rented locally to explore the island. Very nice service. Delicious food. Possibility to have breakfast and dinner on the seashore. A wonderful swimming pool with a particularly beautiful view of the sea, where you don't feel chlorine. In the mornings, you can watch spectacular sunrises from the terrace. Beautiful sunsets in the evenings by the pool.
