Location was within town and almost in center of other directional tourist places. Food was good. Breakfast had good options. Reception person Raisal was very helpful in telling us which places to visit and guided us on which routes places are at which helped us plan the trip. He also showed us around the resort. Since it was cold weather we didn't use the pool.

    Good place to visit but not in summer holidays. Most places are shut down due to summer or other reasons. Some places like water falls are risky as there are no proper safeguard measures for tourists. Stay near the Bus Stand to go to important sight seeing spots.

    I booked.

    I booked. When i reach the location, they contactrd me over phone and told that booking. com is wrongly did the booking and all rooms are occupied, advised to find any other accommodation. Me and family upset and travelled to Vythiri, the nearby town and slept in a bad room. I become upset and face lot of losses on this travel. Advice me furter.

    There is nothing to see in Kalpetta.

    There is nothing to see in Kalpetta. Good place to enjoy workcation. Places to see are at distance from the Kalpetta City. Veg food options are limited and majority of restaurants serves beef. Climate is okay not too hot not too cold. City is clean and green. Good looking houses are everywhere. People are ready to help even though they don't understand english/hindi that well.

    It’s a good place to enjoy activities.

    It’s a good place to enjoy activities. Our initial plan was to Munnar, but we changed plans. The day we entered Wayanad, we were unsure if the choice was right. But it was lots of fun with kids and enjoyed the most. Kalpetta is best location to travel in all direction for sight seeing. I am not sure if we explored enough to comment on restaurants but we didn’t manage to see good ones. So we traveled like 4 KM east to find very good restaurant Newform. The food taste is good here.

    The stay at resort was wonderful. The manager of the resort, Thomas made our stay as a complete bliss. The service, hospitality, place, climate, all was top notch. The room and bed was little small but well maintained. The manager took special care of our every needs from food to all other services. Food was very hygienic as well as tasty and felt as home prepared as we didn't had any stomach issues. Overall this is a must try resort to stay at Wayanad.

    Everything. This place only has positive points. Hostel location, Property maintenance, Facilities, Host, Staffs and Trans (Their cute dog). It’s a go to place in Wayanad. Especially if you are looking for a calm and cool place for your workaction. And I would definitely recommend this place for first time backpackers hostel experience. You will fall in love with hostel life. Kudos to the hosts and the staffs to keep this place lovely and welcoming.

    Amazing Facilities for the Price offered, Enough parking space, mini fridge, AC, kettle, cutlery, bath and hand towels provided. Budget pricing with complimentary breakfast served timely to you room around at 8am. Property owners captain and his wife were taking good care of guests clearing our doubts timely on phone.     I was surprised when they upgraded my room to Suite. The Hotel did not have any restaurant but they were plenty around and the staff guided us properly to such restaurants. They even arranged for our pick-up from the Airport and also the same vehicle was used during our stay for visiting various places. Sachin the manager and other staff were very courteous and the Driver of the vehicle Mr. Shajir was also very good and helpful.

    Nivaasana exceeded our expectations as a B&B. The place was very cosy and homely. The best bit about the stay was Rachana. She is a superhost as she made sure that we are well fed all the time with delicious traditional food. She actively showed her beautiful garden and also helped us in finding nice spice shop in town. I highly recommend a stay at Nivaasana and I will be back for sure again if I am at Wayanad.

    It was a very great stay and more than that, their way of treating us was amazing. I felt it like home. But there are not soo many places nearby to visit. But one good option was, you can order best food by just calling to nearest hotel, and it was too yummy. I suggest ppl to visit this homestay, relax, eat, have some chit chats, drink coffie by enjoying the view from balcony and live life.

    Rashid is very good at his job, he has been such a nice host! He was very helpful throughout our stay and allowed us some extra time for check out coz we were running late. The breakfast was yummy and the quantity was also super filling. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who visits Wayanad because it is located in Kalapetta which is like at the centre of Wayanad!

    There is absolutely NOTHING to like in this property. This is the WORST place to stay. The pictures shown here are different from the actual room. The actual room looks like servant room.     We had a wonderful stay in the resort. The view is amazing from the lodges/rooms. A special thanks to Thomas who helped us the whole time in the hotel and to prepare some excursions. This is a great spot to be based for visiting the area. This was part of our honeymoon trip and we had some most appreciated special treatment.

This is the best affordable stay in Kalpetta and easily accessible by roadways. If you're looking for a budget friendly stay, then go for it.
