The host wasn't able to meet us at our time of arrival but we were left with very clear and easy instructions for the self check-in, so we had no problem whatsoever to get into the premises. The breakfast was served at the before agreed upon time in our room, which was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, the shower was huge and the AC worked perfectly. The location of the room was also perfect: easy to find and convenient to get around from.

Set in Treviso, in a historic building, 26 km from Mestre Ospedale Train Station, Antica Dimora Stucky is a bed and breakfast with a garden and shared lounge. The host was excellent very helpful and attentive. I find that friendliness goes a long way to wishing I had another nigbht to stay. The location is ok, ten minutes away by car from the centre and the airport. We walked to the centre and it was a nice walk. There is a restaurant just two minutes away with some great pizza.

Set in a restored mansion along the River Adige, Casa Panvinio offers elegant-style rooms with 19th-century furnishings. Nothing but good things about this place. Daniele was the most attentive and welcoming host I have ever met. The attention and service is outstanding. The room had this old-fashioned style that I loved with a modern and spacious bathroom. 10/10

B&B La Magia dei Sogni Relais is 8 minutes’ drive from Verona. It offers a garden, a seasonal pool with hydromassage functions, and free WiFi throughout. A dreamlike place once you are inside the gates. Exquisitely furnished. A very nice breakfast. Good location in a serene part of the city. A small swimming pool is an extra beauty. Great host.
