On the shores of Killary Harbour lies Ireland's oldest coaching inn. Dating from 1796, you'll find traditional home cooking, antique furniture and the most spectacular views in Ireland. great hotel with amazing views. The interior is classic and cosy, the staff very friendly and helpful. I stayed for the second time and definetly should have stayed more than one night.

The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. The views were stunning and the host was delightful. Can't comment on breakfast as we left too early. The room was so pretty as were the shared spaces. So much attention to detail. Excellent stay.

Set in beautiful gardens in the heart of Connemara, the romantic Abbeyglen Castle Hotel has tennis courts, a spa bath and stunning views of Clifden and the Twelve Bens mountains. The location, the calmness, the relaxing mood, the service. All wonderful !

Buttermilk Lodge is 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, so you can just park your car and easily walk to town. We stayed in BnB's almost exclusively during our 2 weeks in Ireland and the Buttermilk was hands down the best of all. The room was lovely, breakfast out of this world and easy walk to town.

Roundstone House Hotel offers accommodation in Roundstone. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The rooms have a flat-screen TV. Certain units include views of the sea or garden. Fantastic place with friendly people and clean and comfy rooms.

The Alcock and Brown hotel in Clifden is a central and cosy hotel offering a dedicated welcoming service in a relaxed atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable. The staff is kind, polite and helpful. They gave us good tips for activities around the hotel. The hotel lobby is very cozy, with a beautiful fireplace : it's the perfect place to sit back and relax peacefully. The breakfast buffet was very good, there was a lot of different options that will satisfy everyone. In terms of location, the hotel is located in Clifden so you can easily walk to restaurants and pubs. You can also park your car at the SuperValue car park for free and it's just across the street from the hotel. The hotel is also very close to the beautiful sky road and its an easy drive to the Connemara National Park. Overall our stay was perfect and it was a great deal. We highly recommend and would definitely come back if we're ever in the region again.

Offering a private beach area, Connemara Sands is located in Mannin Bay, just a 10-minute drive from Clifden. Free WiFi access is available and the property offers free parking. Great location, lovely staff, great facilities, spacious accommodation.

At the edge of Clifden, All the Twos offers rooms with spacious bathrooms. Guests can enjoy mountain views, free Wi-Fi, and free parking, 15 minutes’ drive from Connemara National Park. Very very roomy, comfortable king size bed, quiet, price very reasonable. No breakfast but coupon given for €10 breakfast at downtown hotel which we used and was very good. Front desk person gave good advice to our questions. On edge of town but 1 km walk to the Station bar.

Set on the peaceful and scenic island of Inishbofin, this hotel boasts rooms with stunning views. Guests can enjoy local seafood in the split-level restaurant and traditional Irish music in the bar. Breakfast was great. Staff were fabulous and extremely helpful. Bar tender (Dermot ) was great.
