The rooms were spacious, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom roomy and spotless. the common spaces and restaurants were very elegant yet warm and welcoming. The landscaping and layout of the property were beautiful.

The location is lovely and not far frome the ferry ,there is lots to do and superb walks including a very nice walk from the castle ,we were self catering and did not have the breakfasts but they did smell very good .

The staff were extremely friendly and did everything that they could to make my stay memorable. I was put in a quiet room a fair distance from the cheerful party that went on to the early hours of the morning, and I didn't hear a thing. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and copious and the selection of wines well worth another visit.

We loved the welcoming atmosphere of the entry inside the hotel which has a log fire burning, fresh flowers everywhere and candles lit. The room is so comfortable and spacious and the beds super comfortable. The staff are incredibly happy and helpful and great to talk to. The meals we had there were fantastic. Great atmosphere in the eating areas. Have already booked to stay here again in a months time.
