This hotel is grossly over-rated.. our room booked had few windows.. no ability to boil water.. parking was hugely inconvenient.. why should anyone hand over car keys so the hotel staff could move your vehicles around. Never again.. the best bit about this hotel was that Good Stuff was very close nearby for a proper breakfast & leaving after two nights was a blessing. Don't even think about it!

The Hermosa beaches are very clean and well kept.
The Hermosa beaches are very clean and well kept. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. Beautiful scenery! The one major drawback back is that the restrooms were closed all except the one by the pier and there are not enough of them along the beach.

Great place!
Great place! It's away from the city hussle, lots of places to go out and eat and drink at all times. The beach is perfect, also lots of volleyball fields for everyone to come and play. With a bike you can go all the way up to Santa Monica in a reasonable time.

Hermosa Beach is a great place for a 4 night stay if you enjoy a clean sandy beach, plentiful restaurants and bars, close proximity to nearby towns and beaches. We had a fabulous dinner at MB Post Restaurant in Manhattan Beach which is only about 10 min Lyft ride. Super easy to get around on foot or by bike. Parking can be a challenge, so make sure you have parking available at your hotel or your rental. We traveled in October during COVID year, so was probably less crowded than usual. Can imagine much more traffic and parking challenges during peak season. Reservations for diner are highly recommended on weekends.

Hermosa beach has some of the best beach volleyball on earth. The strand has shopping and restaurants and bike rentals. It's one of my favorite cities on earth. Very outdoorsy city with lots of people walking, running, biking and just enjoying nature. Lots of stop signs so be patient driving around.
Highly recommend this hotel. We didn't get to spend a lot of time there as we were at a sports event at Dignity Park but it was great to come back to a lovely comfortable room at night. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - shout out to Tyrone especially. Hermosa is a lovely little beach town with some great restaurants and relaxed vibe -would love to return. The hotel has a small but good gym
The property is very clean! The employees are very nice ! Most of all the room was very clean no musty smell like other hotels we where very happy with our stay and the price is very affordable compared to other hotels outrages prices on the others .. the amenities in the room came in handy overall we enjoyed our stay THE VIEW IS BEAUTIFUL !! I’m sorry I only took videos so I couldn’t post pictures .
I am familiar with the neighborhood and needed 4 nights to stay. Since I was traveling alone, my priority was safety, location and cleanliness. There are no amenities like a lobby or food service but for this trip, I wasn't looking for that. Coffee was available in the room and the room was large enough to spread out. Anything you could possibly need is steps away...including the beach!
Our room was so comfortable and there was such a great atmosphere at the hotel. Areas outside to hang out and play games and then the pool/hottub. The food served for breakfast was really good. There is a store across the street (like Whole Foods) that we could get good food at as well. It was in a great location,, very safe, and loved Hermosa Beach area!
Lovely boutique modern hotel in the centre of Hermosa just a stone throw away from the beach. Lovely clean well equipped room with a little kitchen area.
Wonderful upstairs outdoor terrace with tables and fire pits. A beautiful chill place to relax after exploring beautiful California.
The staff were super lovely too xxx
Amazing location, could see ocean and beach from the room. On the pier. Staff really nice and friendly. Breakfast options were nice (toast with jam/peanut butter, eggs, pancakes, coffee)
In reception they have earplugs and sunscreen left by previous tenants in case you run out of yours.
I enjoyed the free breakfast, and bed, bathroom was accommodating, however the carpet was dirty and had a smell. The king studio had a balcony shared with the common patio area right outside sliding door ( No privacy).
Room size and furnishings, location, breakfast - everything! Best breakfast selection and freshest offerings of any hotel we’ve stayed at in a long time.
