The location was great, and that was about the only good thing I have to say about this property. The outside looked ok, not great, but ok, and the lobby/bar area was pretty nice, but that was all. I didn't use the pool, the gym, the bar, or order food, so I can't judge on those, but the room was not at all what I was expecting.

So I thoroughly enjoyed my staycation in Denton! Everything was almost perfect to me. Close proximity and convenience to local restaurants and shopping was a plus. The Airbnb exceeded our expectations in many areas. The only suggestions that we would have is maybe having reclining couches preferably leather material. I feel like those can be cleaned more easily for the next guest. Also the toilet seat was a lil small. Other than that it was absolutely perfect accomodations for our weekend.

There are lots of interesting things to see and do in Denton. And, lots of good restaurants. We were in Denton to visit a friend and to attend the Materials - Hard and Soft art exhibition. The exhibition is a favorite of ours and we try to attend every year.
We had a very delicious brisket sandwich at Brisket Burgers this trip.
The main streets are busy, but otherwise it is easy getting around Denton. The city always surprises us with something new and entertaining.

Denton is a vet diverse city.
Denton is a vet diverse city. If you like shopping it's a great place. There are also numerous outlet malls near by. The city is great if you're visiting or are in college. It's definitely geared more towards college age people. The cops in Denton suck. They will stop you just because of the way you look. But other than that, it's a great little city to visit

Denton is a smaller portion of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Denton is a smaller portion of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It is overpopulated leading to long drive times and long wait times at attractions and restaurants. Driving in this area is a lesson in patience and road rage control. The few tractions we managed to see were expensive for a family but entertaining. The restaurants around this area are all good.

I didn't really get out and about much as I was there for a convention. As I was heading out of town I went through the downtown area and wished I had gone down there. The downtown area looked like it would have been a fun area to check out.
I loved everything about staying at this property. The location was amazing and right next to a Buc-ees, the lobby, hallways, and room were excessively clean, and the room exceeded all expectations. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the bathroom was was big with a shower that had good water pressure and enough room to move around in. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly and more than helpful. I always enjoy my stays at these hotels.
Best avacado toast I have ever had! The guy at the bar was so nice and polite. The check in attendant was so kind and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed or like I was a bother. The room was clean and we were sad to leave. I’m staying at a holiday inn suite in Altus OK and I can assure you that Marriott is WAYYYYYYYY better than any igh hotel I have had to stay at.
my room was trashed and there was another family inside…. i got reassigned to a room that had a dead door lock…. meaning the keys wouldn’t unlock… so i had to go to the front desk 3 different times to get new keys ….. the hotel itself was great and peaceful but omg i don’t know why all those things came up like it shouldn’t have been so complicated
The breakfast was great. Nice selection of options, and coffee available 24/7 in the lobby. The pool was small, and the pool room needs better ventilation.
The location and parking lot needs an access point from the rear of the property to improve access since the nearest northbound exit requires a lot of driving to get back to the hotel.
Amazing shower, big room, very clean, super comfy bed! I always stay here when coming through denton. The little bar is great. The pool and hot tub area are beautiful. The inside of this hotel Is beautiful. I love everything about it.
James ( I believe was his name) at front desk was by far the best person ever to work the front desk of any hotel I have ever stayed at. He knew people by name, remembered faces, made connections with people!! Great asset to hotel.
I don’t generally like hotel stays but this was one of the best ever. Staff … friendly
Cleanliness…excellent
Complimentary breakfast…delicious
Room…very comfortable
Will definitely be back!
I stayed in three hotels in Denton in three days and Marriott was by far the best with Hampton Inn coming in second. What’s not to like? No complaints whatsoever.
