Rinna Resort has by far the best location on the island. It is located on a mountain near the pier with a beautiful view.
In addition, the owners are the nicest people we met during our trip through Thailand.
The day we had to leave we had to get up early and the owner came to us in the evening to ask what we wanted for breakfast so that it was ready early in the morning.
I highly recommend this place!!

Our room was very nice, modern and clean. the beds were comfortable. Its located in the area with all the restaurants and supermarket. Its really close to the beach where you can watch a beautiful sunrise or find a nice bar/restaurant, but the sea tide is very low, so the best beach for swimming is Charlie beach, where you need to walk or take a taxi.
Boasting a terrace, Mook tawan Beach house is set in Koh Mook in the Trang Province region, 500 metres from Hua Laem Prao Beach and 2.4 km from Charlie Beach.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, accommodating an early breakfast request so we could make a ferry, helping us by communicating on the phone with a tour operator who we had a booking with and even doing some laundry.
Koh Mook Sivalai beach resort is situated on Koh Mook Island and has direct access to Hao-Laem Beach. It offers an outdoor pool with sea views, Thai-style villas and a restaurant.

The location was stunning with the feel of a private island, and near Koh Mook village (walking distance). Staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was diverse and the food at the restaurant good. All the bungalows have sea views.
A 5-minute walk from Charlie Beach, one of the nicest beach in Ko Mook, Nature Hill offers a good spot of nature and relaxing atmosphere. It is surrounded by the lush hills. Free WiFi is available.

Good location and really nice owners. Helped us get a cod for our baby and a blanket that she could play on.

Comfy room and facilities. Nice deck for afternoon lazing about. Great bathroom. Nice bar area looking out to sea. There is a swimming beach and good food nearby. Very friendly staff, always open to helping out. Good English spoken. Ok breakfast.

The bungalows were surrounded by a beautiful garden with so many butterflies. Inside, the room and bathroom felt spacious and were very comfortable. The hosts were so incredibly friendly and funny. Restaurant had great cheap food too. Plus it was a 5 minute walk from the main beach (Charlie beach). Overall it was amazing and I would thoroughly recommend it, and it is a bargain!
Situated in Koh Mook, just 100 metres from Hua Laem Prao Beach, Koh Mook Sea View Bungalow features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, a garden, a bar and free WiFi.
Great island with the stunning Charlie beach. One of the top in Thailand from my 2 month travel around. Definitely underrated. Can be uncomfortable in the evenings when jelly fish appear. But 10 starts for the morning time. Also nice food done by local on theirs small restaurants business on the beach. An relaxing place to be.

We loved how relaxed the island was.
We loved how relaxed the island was. The locals were super friendly (especially the children who said hello and good morning whenever we went past). It is very quiet compared to other Thai islands such as Koh Lipe / Koh Phi Phi so be prepared for early nights rather than late night partying.

Charlie’s beach was our favourite.
Charlie’s beach was our favourite. You could sit on the loungers and umbrellas for free although the beer cocktails and Pad Thai were too good to decline.
You get around the island in tuk tuks which cost 50baht each no matter what the distance.
The Home Restaurant, Arunee (fantastic cook) and Manat run this lovely restaurant. One night we had barracuda for dinner which was delicious.
We were lucky one evening to see turtles by the pier

Sivalai Resort is there too on a beautiful beach.
A must is a visit to Emerald cave and a day trip to Koh Kradan.
Loved Sunset or (Charlie Beach)
Overall I would strongly recommend Koh Mook island.
We loved the property super cute and many areas to relax. We stayed 2 nights at this property unfortunately they were booked up so the second night we switched rooms and stayed in the bungalows. Those were a fun and unique experience. The staff was super helpful and accommodating, we loved that we could just charge everything to the room and pay at the end made it a more enjoyable experience. We rented scooters from the resort and toured the island, we were thinking after we left we should have stayed a couple more days.
If you want to have an amazing experience in Ko Mook, you should come here. The owner is awesome and very attentive. He picked us up for free from the pier, looked after us and offered us plenty of options to do in the island. Even though it was low season, he planned almost everything to do here. Apart from that, the location it's perfect, close to the main street where you will find some restaurants.
Finally, we have to say we really enjoyed Ko Mook thanks to him :)
Super friendly staff (and also beautiful hotel dog). The rooms we stayed in were absolutely gorgeous, even better than the photos which were already impressive. Huge rooms which were very clean with large bath and porch area. Excellent value for money and we had a delicious breakfast in the morning. One of the best hotels we stayed in throughout Thailand. Wish we could have stayed for longer! Very highly recommended.
Beautiful bungalows with great bathrooms and balconies, free water refill station, lovely staff, practical location. 30 min to Charlie Beach, 40min to viewpoint so it's pretty central. But the best:
The breakfast!!!! It's the best we had in Thailand. Awesome coffee, great options. Just make sure you arrive early or later, but at ~8am it's a bit full and takes long because everybody wants to have brekky there ;)
A brilliant place to spend a few days! It far exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for money (in comparison to other places of similar price in Thailand). We extended our stay for 3 nights we loved it so much. 5 minute drive from the town centre but a 5 minute walk from Charlie Beach which is the best beach on the island and where we spent most of our time.
The rooms are spacious and the mini pool is really comforting. We also found the staff to be really helpful, and they even vegan-ized the breakfast for us which was quite delicious. You can easily catch the sunrise from the resort, and wouldn't hear any traffic noises or loud music as it's located far from the main parts of the island.
After the previous visit to Koh Lipe, Koh Mook is a beautifully charming Thailand, which we hope will remain and not be destroyed by tourism. Accommodation, beautiful garden, free kayaks, large and clean pool and the best breakfast and food I had in Thailand. Thank you very much and we look forward to coming back here.
Yai was the best host I ever had on any holiday very kind and friendly extremely helpful, picks you up from the pier and dropped us off even took us for a site seeing the tent was so much fun! Just one tip for visitors is to take some mosquito ointment.
The bathroom is clean the experience was unforgettable.
Beautiful property to stay at in a nice garden location.
Property is central to everything that this beautiful island has to offer.
Property offers motor scooter for 200 Thai Baht for hotel guests so you
can visit beautiful Sunset or (Charlie) beach.
A beautiful island Koh Mook is!!!
Love the location it’s right by the main walking street of Koh Mook. Also it is very close to the pier. Location of the hotel is on a beach so we could have breakfast overlooking the sun rising from the horizon. Couldn’t have asked for more. Their happy hour is also very inexpensive.
The views were breath taking and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s a smaller resort with one restaurant but it’s a short walk to the village which offers more options. The pool is nice and the bungalows are adorable and offer easy access to the beach.
Room was very accommodating along with the staff.
Coming from a westerner, the food was amazing.
Free taxi to and from Resort. Very informative front desk personnel. The pool was super cool, especially at night. Cool birds, butterflies and frogs all over the place.
Su and John are the best hosts we've come across. Ko mook is epic and they did everything possible to make our stay a success. Great banter, nothing too much trouble, bikes for hire, close to great eateries. We will 100% be back there. Loved every minute
Because this place is not walking distance to town where most bars/restaurants are, it would be great if the resort could make lunch and dinners available (only breakfast is available) as well as drinks.
