Koh Kood Paradise Beach, hotel in Ko Kood

Set in Ko Kood, a few steps from Ao Tapao Beach, Koh Kood Paradise Beach offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden.

My parents stayed in Garden villa rooms very high quality. We stayed in the block of rooms at the back which were set back from beach. These were decent rooms but not as good as villas. Having read some reviews I was very apprehensive but very little availability anywhere but they are actually fine and as they are very cheap good value. Bathrooms new. Decor not my favourite but clean. Beds comfy. Beautiful beach and grounds. Restaurant and beach bar both lovely with helpful staff 😄 Organised a private snorkelling / fishing trip through the hotel which was great. The guys running the boat prepared a fresh fish meal straight from the sea 🙌

Best location on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Good cocktails at the bar and good price during happy hour. Nice gardens and very green. Also nice details at the villas and the garden with springs and foot shower and others. Breakfast was ok. Staff was very helpful. The resort is on a beautiful white sand beach that only has 3 resorts on it. A perfect place to relax! There was good snorkeling at either end of the beach. Lots of seating available on the beach and you could always find some shade. Neverland had a bar and restaurant which served good food and down the beach,Rimlays was another very good option. Our favorite was the local family run Thai restaurant about a 5 min walk.. Walk In Homestay, they lso had a little mini mart. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. If you wanted to explore beyond this beach you would need to rent a scooter, which they had at the resort. You could also rent paddle boards and snorkel gear.

Very friendly owner. She made an extra delicious breakfast with love ! The tent was big and quite comfortable. Although the whole terrain was quite small, I liked the familiar atmosphere. 10 min. walk to the beach. Also very good dinner for reasonable prices.

    Beautiful nature, amazing beaches.

Beautiful nature, amazing beaches. But if you want to explore the island you need a scooter. Some little shops with stuff you need, but nothing special. It is a remote island without big infrastructure, so i enjoyed the feeling of a bit adventure. And as i mentioned, the nature was spectaculous. .

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood.

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood. It is the most lovely place I’ve ever been. The bungalow we were given is on its own little island with a fantastic view of the sea. We loved it so much we were really pleased to be able to stay longer. The staff are really kind and were always available to help with anything. It is great to swim here as the water is clear and you can see fish swimming in it. The fire show was great fun. We liked some food more than others but loved the banana pancakes. We’d definitely come again if the opportunity arose.

Ko Kood is advertised as an unspoilt island paradise, in my opinion, it is not. The arrival/departure pier is a mess, too much rubbish, not the welcome sight I was expecting. The 20-30 minute drive from the pier to the resort let us see a good part of the island. Most buildings, restaurants, hostels looked ‘tired’ - perhaps this is a post-pandemic situation. You have to be comfortable riding a scooter (and have insurance as the roads are quite steep and windy) to explore the island. I only ate at the Koh Kood Resort, which I found was not value for money, the portion sizes were small. The beach was safe and the water clear, I was expecting more fish. The resort’s facilities were adequate but I was expecting better. As an older, disabled person, I would not recommend the resort or island as a suitable place to visit. I would not visit Koh Kood again. For me, Koph Chang is a better option as you can take your car on the island.

Wonderful, had whole beaches to ourselves, friendly people a world away from Bangkok. Easy to get about on a scooter even for first timers. Bring sturdy shoes for waterfalls though. Great snorkeling locations too

This place is literally a paradise.

This place is literally a paradise. Get on a scooter and ride through jungle tracks to find deserted beaches, sea is pale blue just like in the pictures. Hardly any traffic at all, no banging music and crazy people, seems like everyone there is there for relax. I loved it and am going back for more.

The beach was one of the best in my life.

The beach was one of the best in my life. Crystal clear water and sandy beach. The beach in front of my hotel was really great (Bang Bao Beach or something) However, it was not easy for getting there and getting around especially during long holiday. The speedboat to the island was expensive and very bad management on the sitting (no reservation seat). You have to park at their parking lot and sitting on shuttle carts to the pier. When you reach the island, they offered free delivery service but you have to be "packed" on a truck with strangers for quite a long ride (>20 mins) to up and down road to my hotel. The food here was very nice. However, most restaurant trend to take very long time before the food would arrive.

We were in Thailand for 3 weeks & this was the best resort we stayed at. The rooms are very nice and clean. Enjoyed the outside shower. Lush green garden all around - very well taken care of. Beach is nice. The resort is very well designed for relaxation but you can also use kayaks, paddle boards etc for free. Walking distance to another close by beach. Nice pool area. Food at the restaurant is amazing. Excellent Thai food and breakfast choice is very good. Staff is very friendly and professional. I would definitely stay there again.

The location is great, right on bang bao Bay which is a beautiful area in the island. The beach right in front of the resort is good but our personal favorite is when you walk 5minutes down towards the south side of the bay. The atmosphere of the resort feels really tranquil, inviting and peaceful which we liked a lot. The bed is very comfortable and the staff really amiable and kind. Everything feels really clean. We also really enjoyed breakfast which had a variety of Asian dishes, French toast, pancakes, fruit, salad, pastries.

The bungalows are all facing the sea. They are basic, but clean and comfortable. They have all you need. The resort overlooks a secluded beach which is used most of the times only by the guests of the resort and often you can be alone in the beach. The water is crystal clear and you have the feeling to be in heaven 😉Besides the resort there are two good vibes bars. Perfect place for sunset and sipping a cold chang. Khlong chao beach is less than 1 km away and seems lively especially in the evening but not overcrowded

Nice resort on the beach. Pretty far away from the rest of the island, you definitely need a scooter to rent if you want to explore. Amazing breakfast with a lot of choices. Very good a la carte menu, a bit higher prices in my opinion, but all the island is more expensive than other islands in Thailand. In reality the room is bigger than in the photos and it's decent, clean and comfortable, despite the colours they choosed for the paintings :))) silent AC so you could sleep at night

Highly recommend this great accommodation on Koh Kood. Situated in a serene location, deeper into the jungle, away from the busier coastal areas. Each hut has a private entrance, deck, bathroom, fridge and air conditioning. The huts are clean, spacious, and relaxing. I would also recommend the restaurant with the local speciality - pot. the host is very kind and helpful, we rented scooters form him as well. Perfect place to spend holidays in this stunning island!!!

Nai and his family are one of the friendliest, kindest people I met in about 20 years of traveling. He just picked us up from the hotel we stayed the night before (without asking), helped with bookings (Songkran time!), brought me back from the motorbike rental to the Resort and more... just lovely people. The resort is in a very green area, just a couple of hundred meters away from the Beach. it's in a very good condition, nice bungalows.

Very special location, away from everything. Not for everyone. But if you enjoy quiet areas, kayaking, sitting by the water, listening to sounds of the nature...this is great. You can eat at the resort, there are kayaks, scooters, walking distance to the pier, swimming pool. And you can always take a scooter and ride everywhere you need. 15 minutes ride to the nearest beach. Just be careful, there are dogs by the road! Not much traffic.

The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Our room was beautiful and well appointed. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and with many smaller spots to eat not quite up and running for the high season, we were grateful to have such great food just outside our villa. The resort also has its own scooters you can rent, so it’s super convenient and makes it easy to explore this beautiful island.

Everything Friendly staff and Helpful with everything. Pink kangraroo has a beautiful area among green palm trees and the most beautiful beaches with blue water in all of Thailand close to a kilometer or a few. Wonderful place and atmosphere. Clean and tidy. The owner helps in arranging a scooter, which is a huge plus. Thank you for a nice stay😊

The staff was excellent and very helpful with all kind of requests. Best service we had in Thailand! The room itself is very bright and looks clean. Bathroom is spacious and with hot water. The rooms are next to Ban Bao Beach at the more beautiful side. The restaurant serves basic but good breakfast and they have good lunch and dinner options.
